The steering lock at 4:38 is the ignition lock to stop the wheel from straightening up, when broken it can actually break the bikes frame that’s why it’s a write off (totalled) unless you have theft insurance don’t use the lock it takes 5 seconds to snap.
I like the disc lock or the alarm system best. I use a small chain for my Honda Monkey. It only weighs around 230 lbs making it easy to pick up and put into a vehicle. I don't worry about my Honda Rebel as much but, I do use the steering lock.

My brother has two disc locks and he locks one of it at the rear and the other at the front break. I know its a bit much especially being able to lock the front fork but its an extra security Edit: he uses two Abus Granit Sledge 77 disc lock
@@CruisersCorner we have both Monkeys and both Rebels in the garage at home. I mostly worry about the Monkey when I'm away from home in a store for a while. If I'm going to be in and out quickly I don't worry as much but if I'm going to be a while I use a chain for it.
I recently had the left side panel on my Honda Rebel stolen. I’m still new to the world of motorcycles 😅 is there a reason someone might take that? Like, is there a part underneath that thieves want to get to?
Hi, thanks for watching! That sucks, we have a few ideas as to why that might happen. There could be some tools in there (like an Allen key that can be used to remove the seat). Maybe they were checking to see if you had any cash or important documents in there? … Or Maybe they were missing theirs and were looking for a replacement. We’ve also heard of these flying off on people while driving.

I don't have ABS on my Monkey. I wonder if that alarm system would fit in the space where the ABS system would go?
It might as long as it was protected from water in that spot.

Do you know anyone that can make keys for the rebel 300 2023? I lost the keys and none of the locksmiths I spoke to can't do it.
What anti-theft system do you use?
We just use a cover but we’re lucky enough to have a garage to park our bikes
