    My device was giving the error beeps that ecovacs said meant there was something wrong with the main brush, however after replacing all brushes and doing a thorough cleaning of the entire device (every nook and cranny) the error beeps still remained. So this video inspired me to try a new battery and sure enough that solved the problem! Thank you so much!

    We love our n79s deebot it cleans really good but just recently we have noticed the battery lasts around 30 mins, before it lasted about 2 hrs. So we decided since it's 2 yrs old we should probably get a newer one cuz it's bound to start having more issues

      @@JtriX21 Success, so far! Only two days in with the new "Anho" brand battery, but my N79S cleaned for 90 minutes today. I got the battery for $22.50 with Amazon Prime, and charged it overnight. As stated in the video, I noticed that the battery takes longer to charge after cleaning (I stopped counting after four hours), but that's fine for me.
      UPDATE: The battery from Amazon (link in description) lasted about 18 months. Deebot slowed to about 20 minutes at a time, but now beeps 4 times repeatedly and shows a red light instead of charging. Hoping a new battery will keep the bot chugging along.

    Hiiiii I have an old model about 9 years old now and have not replaced the battery and runtime is down a lot from when it was new. I charged it up today and then I gave it to clean up and it lasted about 40 minutes with a battery this old, it not too bad or is it?

    • @Wanderer001_Reviews

  • @tomle2553
    @tomle2553 2 года назад

    Got roughly 3ish years out of the stock battery maybe a bit less. It's only working for about 15-20 min now before it's time to recharge. That's just not enough time for any decent cleaning. Strangely, I didn't notice a big decrease in cleaning time until just one day out of no where. In other words, it was probably decreasing slowly without much notice until bam.. there was a giant decrease. It is me or does that feel like a short battery life span?

    • @Wanderer001_Reviews
      @Wanderer001_Reviews  2 года назад +2

      I thought the same thing but I just chalked it up to the fact that it sits on the charger all the time. So it's slowly degrading the battery capacity by constantly being charged.

    Hey there, I have deebot t8 been shut down due to low battery and now can't charge it on deck. It's clearly mentioned o the manual that it should be on to get charge. Chicken and egg situation now.
    Can't turn it on to get it charged. I saw your great job here and hope you could help me to fix this. I'm pretty sure battery is in good condition, the robot and battery are less than 18 months old. Anyway I can charge the battery by itself. I checked the battery it's a S10-L1-144-5200 with a port with 5 wires. I couldn't find a charger online for it.
    Would appreciate your professional opinion. Should I order a new battery? Is the new battery coming with a minimum charge, because if not that wouldn't help me at all.
    Thanks in advance for your time.

    • @Wanderer001_Reviews

      You could manually place the robot on the charging dock. Wiggle it back and forth until you see the light on top indicate it is charging. you could also plug in the power cord right to the robot itself to charge things up and see if that helps.

    The battery is just too dead to charge. You put it on base leave 3 mins then remove place it back on dock for 3 mins. Then remove place it back on dock for 3 mins. The next time it should be charged. Alternatively you can put a small amount of juice back in battery manually
