    I have never seen anybody start a lovey with the head. That certainly solves the problem of attaching the head after the blanket is made. I am definitely going to have to try this. Thank you!

    The way you attach the head and actually make the lovey from the head is brilliant!! It is much more secure in my opinion!! I am doing all my lovey's with this technique, hope that is okay! I have had so many compliments with your style of lovey. I make and donate them to the local police and domestic violence shelters for children. Thank you!!

    • @TheresavB
      @TheresavB 3 года назад +1

      The head should lay flat until you get to row 7. Then once you begin doing a single crochet in every stitch your project will have a spherical shape. If you use your fingers to push the middle of your circle (where you made the magic loop) up as you go the head shouldn't be inside out. I think the problem might be that you are pushing the middle of your circle in instead of out. Does this make sense?

    I love your patterns and appreciate you doing these videos.
    However, I wish you would just do several stitches of each row to show the pattern for that row and then say will meet you back at the end of row. For example,on your border there is no way I can keep up with you stitch for stitch. So either I have to pause and then when I am finished listen to you for the remainder of the row while I do nothing or mute you and then possibly miss an instruction that is important.

      Oh okay yeah after you add to the bottom of the head you should have 16. I'm not really sure how you could adjust it to work with 12. You could try not skipping in stitches for the first row but you may just have to pull it out and start over

    How much yarn would you say you used roughly?

    I don’t know how to find the twelve stickers to start the blanket part. Can you help?

      Try counting from the top of the head counting the circle as one. Count down 18 rows. You should be able to see 12 stitches that stand out from the rest on that row. If you are still having trouble let me know

    I don't know what is it that I am doing wrong, but in raw 5 I don't get 36 st. I get 38, with the 27 st from raw 4. Can you help me.

      Okay. So if you have 27 sts at the end of row four you are good. For row five you need to put 1sc in the first st, 1sc in the second st and then in the 3rd st you will put 2sc and you just repeat that all the way around. 1sc in the first 2sts and then 2sc in the 3rd st. Let me know if this helped or if you still are getting 38

    It doesn't say how much of the main color yarn that we need does anybody know how much yarn on the main color?

    • @kittensandcrochet
      @kittensandcrochet  3 года назад

      Less than a skein of yarn. I used red heart super saver yarn so you could look up an equivalent if you didn't want to use that brand

    After finishing this, can it be washed in a washing machine?

    • @kittensandcrochet
      @kittensandcrochet  4 года назад

      Yes. Machine wash on handwash setting. If you used a different stuffing than I did in my tutorial just check the bag and make sure it is washable

    Would this work with crushed velvet yarn?

    • @kittensandcrochet
      @kittensandcrochet  4 года назад +1

      If that yarn is bulky it would probably end up being a lot bigger than intended. My honest answer is I dont know. I've never tried it. Sorry this isnt too helpful.

      I did the blanket in baby velvet using a 4.5 crochet hook. Worked out perfect. I did however make mine bigger because I made a doll head instead.
