Hi, I was wondering how big the granny square blanket is when its finished? I'm using different yarn so wanted to make sure it would be a similar size. Thanks for the tutorial it's a really cute gift.

Can this be washed in the washing machine without being ruined?
I would follow the washing guidelines of the yarn that you are using. However, to be on the safe side I would probably hand wash this.
