Can this be washed in the washing machine without being ruined?
I would follow the washing guidelines of the yarn that you are using. However, to be on the safe side I would probably hand wash this.

Hi, I was wondering how big the granny square blanket is when its finished? I'm using different yarn so wanted to make sure it would be a similar size. Thanks for the tutorial it's a really cute gift.

Thank you! I used the pattern from stringydingding.com/cup-ramen-amigurumi-free-crochet-pattern/ but I did modify it. I used a letter B hook (so it would turn out super small) and had to adjust the pattern to accommodate the smaller size.
