Thanks. Instead of trimming geometry to get rid of jagged edges, it would be better practice to add a transform node to the material and increase the scale to a value just above 1.0 (eg 1.01). Then pipe this single node into all of the image textures 'transform' channels (inputs).
Some really cool stuff, bruh. thank you for this crisp and to the point tutorial.. maybe you can tell us about the hair and fur material in octane, that would be cool too.. Thank you again. keep it up
Whats up! Amazing tut man! I guess the fre Heightmap is quite differnt to the one you are using in the video, the one I downloaded has black on the mountain peaks so it forms a very weird hole on them
hey ! really loved the tutorial, however when i download the free height map, i don't get the same height map as you used in the tutorial, i get sort of weird canyons because there is no spike for the top of the mountains. If there is a way i can get the same height map that would be awesome, thanks a lot !
Learned a lot from this tutorial! Thanks for showing the process for creating this material.

GREAT TUTORIAL..!! BT THE HEIGHT TEXTURE YOU USED IS DIFFERENT FROM THE TEXTURE INCLUDED IN THE PROJECT FILES..!!
Another banger broski!
The displacement map in the free pack is very different, i think you mightve included the wrong version ?
Yes why would he include a better one in free pack 😂
I saw many tutorials using this free GSG Lut pack but i cant seem to find it anywhere :(
great videos. can you turn the music off? its really distracting.

Use Baking Texture
@@SHIVAM.M.S baking texture produces the same outcome with added detail to the sides. still plateauing and producing canyon like displacements
So Great
thanks for your sharing
What video card do you use for or octane render?
Love it
Thanks man!
