The only time I ever had flickering was when I had the Ray Epsilon set too high. Try a value of 0.0001. Also make sure your lights are set to bright, this can cause fireflies especially if your materials have normal or bump maps
If you build a glass shader and dont have smooth checked thats what's going to happen. I had that issue in a project recently and couldnt find anything online about it, so hopefully it'll help other out with the same issue.

Hi! Great video! Tks! I have a technical question... It's about rendering movies... I have a pretty good PC ( i7, SSD, GTX 1070, ect...) But when I render a simple 5 seconds movie in C4D, it needs 127 hours!!! What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!!
Hey Hugo, are you using Octane or standard c4d renderers?
CG Shortcuts hi CG! Tks for answering so fast! Since I'm new with C4D, I'm using C4D's... But I do have octane. What's your suggestions?
Sounds like you've got your setting up a tad high. I do most of my stuff in Octane these days because I need the speed. Best starting with your settings very low then gradualy put them up to the point you can get away with a decent image. Most of my tutorials are about 4 in depth and 800 samples depending o the scene. Im working on a course for rendering in the standard C4D renderer so hopefuly have that out soon
These are my rendering settings:
- Output : 1920 x 1080
- Physical : Depth of field checked and sampling quality at medium
- Ambient occlusion : at default
- Global illumination : Samples at medium
I'm not sure if it's good...
Rounded edges? te amo loco, así de simple.

You can go to the basic tab on any object and change 'use color' to any color you'd like to make it easier to see;)
