Fantastic tutorial! I followed along with a different concept and it all worked. My only question is that I added a light and once I added the material, the light no longer has an effect on it. Is that a material issue?
That is so amazing,,, but i have problem on 15:50, I tried to rotate however its not working but the scale is working that way. does anyone know how to fix it..?
Hello, so thankful for this extra useful knowledge you're sharing. I have some troubles trying to make current state to object, my laptop can't handle that. Do you have any thoughts how it can be solved ?
Thx for this amazing tutorial ! But when you rotate the grass inside the cloner at 16:00, it doesn't work for me, do you think it have changed because of new updates ?
I use the LUMIX S5 with a lot of diffrent lenses, but in this one i used a old vintage 50mm f/1.7 I try a lot of diffrent lenses, but i haven't found the one yet :)
@@user-se5mz0fi3l there are couple of options. 1) use your poly landscape object and create a new empty poly selection tag. use Fields option there and use Shader Field. Use a Falloff shader there, in world mode - the gradient will control an area where will be your instances distributed - don´t forget to use the selection tag in your cloner/matrix. 2) you can use the same - but without the selection. use a cloner/matrix and a Plain effector. Set the scale there (uniform) to -1. Use a random field, use a higher size - to generate some variations in distributions (later). Then use a Shader field with Falloff again. Leave it on the Max. The last one is the Quantize there - set it to 1. This is a very easy way how to mask away small instances - you will get randomly distributed instancies only on the top.
You helped me a lot, I hadn't been able to find the stones for the project for a long time. This solution is just great
How much love and dedication in your tutorials, love this

Simple but awesome way how you worked with the Shader Field. I'll definitely adapt this on my own stuff, thanks for that!
I'm just happy to share the knowledge
nice one man! didn't know about the terrain mask technique :)
Appreciate it a lot. Something different than my normal cubes and spheres (lol)
Gonna give this a try and hope my laptop can handle it ;)
Man I love it, we have a very talented danish designer here 👏🏻

Hi Lucas! Where I can buy the rock material + the grass? It looks amazing! Loved the tutorial
very good tutorial, it would be great, a tutorial on how to animate the camera 🔥
Can u do a tutorial on how to make sparkling liQuid like sea or ocean
wish you could show us how to render just like you did
Wow, how do you work these things out? I will definitely try this technique.
Thank you from Moscow !

Nice!
16:15 different cliffs
I can´t turn my grass up the way you did it
Bro, it's a cool tutorial, but the problem is that you didn't show how you placed the light in the scene and animated the ball
This is great! I don't know why I'm not able to rotate the grass and the bush though
You need to rotate the anchor point of your grass, it's pretty weird I'll agree
@@lukasthorup It's Working. Tks brooooooooo
I have same problem😭did you solve it??
@@user-qy7gq2dk1c go into object mode > activate Rotate Tool > rotate X by 90°
how i can get on the Grass - in my cinema 4d is not found it
Loved this one.
Why did you put the stuff in a connect at 3:37?
My geometry collapsed after I put everything in a connect object

Maybe you have too many polygons, try to make the volume builder have bigger voxels. And then make more detail in the materials ☺️
@@lukasthorup thanks for the reply. I will try
Nice you said my grass is good :). I will remember that.
Hehe 😂
No love to the original desiger of this scene file?

Just a suggestion, in my opinion, the Falloff is better, easer, faster, doest the same, sure.
which falloff exactly?
