A really bad infestation of a rear lane in Middlesbrough centre.

Rats are a common problem in Middlesbrough.
When they're left to their own devices their numbers can multiply quickly and their presence often leads to damage. Homeowners get upset at getting to live with them and often feel like they're battling the problem on their own.
We were literally seeing rats running about all over as we walked around....

That alley way is one of the cleanest you will come across in Boro aswell mate,the problem is Humans but its a shame for the ones the decent folk who live there

Those streets are horrendous! I had a conversation with the previous Mayor and he said that the budget they had wouldn't touch the problem so they just haven't bothered 😬

If that's the case surely that is something to go on (pardon the pun) they could ALL be removed and sealed. It would be a start.
