Hi guys, i REALLY like your videos, but the sound quality of this one is very bad, It seems like he's doing this under water or something. It's very distracting. Please fix it

I just purchased a 2023 nd mx5 rf and am interested to know if you can put a wider rim on the rear and a less wider rim on the front? I don't want to modify the suspension or anything, I just want the rear of the car to look more beefy with a 235/40 R17. Thanks, love your channel
Just because you can...doesn't mean you should. Obviously, if it's purely aesthetics, anything goes. However, with the staggered setup you're referencing, it'd be too pushy (understeer) in the corners so, we don't suggest it.
what widebody are you running? and what do you mean with zero backspacing dont you mean zero offset? im asking this because im currently looking for new wheels and tires for my carbonmiata widebode wich adds 30mm on each side i beleive
Thank You Very Much! I don't know who set up the sound, but it was horrible (everything else was great). I do want to know what offset is needed in order to run 6 piston wilwood brakes on a NA. Are the number you gave cover that or is more needed? I want to get Daytona Wire wheels for the retro look, but have outstanding brakes. I can't remember what the inside of wire wheels look like as I haven't been around any since the late 80's when my father had a 1970 XKE and a 1958 TR3, so I'm not sure if they have any curve to them or not. Thanks for any input you can give.
Unfortunately, it's more complex than just an offset number. It all depends on the shape of the wheel. You'll need to get a brake template and a wheel together - often wheel manufacturers can check that for you if you send them the template. We've never really looked into wire wheels too carefully so we don't have any solid input to give.
Any way to get 12 inch wide on the rear and 10 inch on the front? obviously need to get wheel arch flares. Just going to be running high horsepower around 600 wheel horsepower. I want to have as much traction as possible.
what about the front wheels ? they won t rub if turning a tight radius and lowered . I am putting ohlins shocks that lowers the car some.225 /45 / 15 federals . What width rim and offset . Will be doing track days with a bbk.
I own a 94' Miata NA, and I'm looking for new alloy wheels 15" of Japan Racing JR3. Could you please tell me if 15x7 ET40 with 195/50/15 will fit? Thanks
Hello brains of flying Miata I have got a question hoping that y'all can help for the last four and a half years I have been building a custom car planning to run the 14-in rims but it completely skipped my mind the low profile Tire availability for a 14 inch the entire time of the build I have finally reached that part to where I need to put wheels and tires on it but my problem is is I cannot go over a 19 inch height Tire and I cannot find a low profile Tire to fit a 14 that is less than 20 or 21 in hoping y'all can help do they make a 15 that has a lower profile Tire that is less than 19 or at least less than 20 thank you in advance your friends bleau an Frenchy
That's a tough ask. There aren't many street tires that are 19" in overall diameter. To put that in perspective, that's the same as a classic Mini on 10" wheels. Even the Mini eventually went to a 19.9" diameter when they switched to 13" wheels - using a 175/50-13. Mini Mania stocks them, and you can (with some effort) find 13" wheels that will fit a Miata depending on your brake choice.
55mm will be very tucked. We suggest you use a wheel offset calculator to measure and check your fitment if you don't have access to the physical wheels. www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator
For break clearance purposes, is there any downside to running a slightly different offset in the front and rear? Say 5-10mm more positive in the front via a spacer?
Hi guys. I have a question: My bought a Advanti storm s1 15x9 +36 offset (225/45 r15 tire), i have stock spring and shocks. If i only fender roll, its okay in the front at full lock? or need coilovers + spacers?
The wheel will interfere with your stock diameter springs. Coil overs are a better answer than spacers, which will also cause more fender clearance problems.

Depends on the tire size chosen and even the brand. With most 205s, it should clear but it will be very close. +36 is a better offset choice for this wheel size.
Charlie Brown's teacher's nephew works at this shop (thank you for this video, great info!)

Probably not. That offset is likely to cause rubbing with that tire size.
Very good and informative video. Thanks!

Looking into a 17x9 +45 offset Titan 7 T-R8 for my ND RF. Running Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 245/40 R17. Do you guys think it will rub? Thanks.
It's quite likely you'll need to roll the fenders to clear the tires, yes.
what is the widest combination for the 04 nb
Would anyone be able to tell me what size tires I can run on my daily nd Miata with 16x8 with 25mm offset wheels without any rubbing?
Assuming you don't want to roll the fenders, you may not be able to go wider than a 215. It will depend on your alignment to some extent.
