I have 205/50/15 with 25 offset Advanti Storms on my turbo Miata. I don't seem to have rubbing issues (I don't think).
I want to put 225 or 245s on for autocross but I am pretty reluctant on rolling the fenders as I think I wanna try to keep it looking stock/sleeperish.

That's good information there buddy. I laughed when you made the "rims" comment. I forgot about the days when guys were all about, check out my rims, bro! haha. Anyways, I surely belong in the boring group 2 crowd. Big obnoxious wheels drive me nuts. This will help me on my 280zx build for the wheel and tire phase. Personally, I like the stock 83 turbo wheels and that's what I want to use, only with slightly bigger tires. Keep up the good work man. Stay safe.

I run 15x8 +20 with 205x50 R15's and do not have any rubbing issues, no gaurd roll/pull, no adjustment to camber, on lowering springs

have trouble to decide between 15x7 or 15x8... and what offset to combine with which size... at the moment I got 17x7 offset 40 on my NA and they just fit... I don't want to roll the arches, just keep the car stock and clean, it is lowered thow... why not using 195 tires???

When I bought my NB, it came with a set of 7Jx15 ET28 with 205/50 R15 in addition to the installed stock rims... thanks to the video I now know that the wheels would not fit the car.
I now got another set of OEM Enkei NB wheels, reasonable light, durable and above all cheap to buy.

I want to run 14x7 rpf1s on my NA. What offset and tire size should i choose to achieve a bolt on install? I'm also looking to lower the car 1-3 inches. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm having a hard time finding a definitive answer.

In defense of group 3 😁
    Wheel: tire + rim
    Rim: no tire, just rim

The tire is the tire. The wheel is the whole metal wheel that you may be thinking of as the rim. The actual rim is the outer part of the wheel. Like if you had a multi-piece wheel with the middle part that's held to the outer part by a bunch of little bolts - the outer part that the tire seats on is the rim of the wheel. So sure, you can have nice rims, but that's just talking about the outer part right by the tire, not the whole wheel with the middle part where the lug bots/studs are, or the spokes connecting the lug part to the rim.

      How about 15 x 7 inch rims

It depends on tire size and suspension setup. What did you have running? (Sorry that this is a late response)
