Genuinely have no idea how this dude's not the most popular guitarist on the entire web. Honestly I think he's got about as much flair, passion and dare I say talent as hendrix himself had.
Popularity is the deathbed of talent ... He is not popular because he doesn't sport a plastic-surgery mutilated face, and does not act silly and "cute" online. ... His talent though, is undisputed. It is the only time i ever liked a cover more than the original song, and for that to be Hysteria, just makes it even more epic!
It's been a few years since I've seen this cover for the first time and I'm still amazed... and it gives me chills every time. All these little things you add to the original song, all the 'bonus' notes that make it sound so awesome. How can this be so perfect? How can your style be so perfect? ;]

@elqueorra1 1. Listen Don't limit yourself in styles of music. Listen to your favorite players, try to understand what you like in them. Listen to what you play, and when with others, what they play. 2. Play A little bit often is better than a lot rarely. Use a metronome. Understand what you're playing in terms of theory and technique. Cleaner is better than faster. Play what you like, and like what you play. Happy strumming!
@SUP3RMA55IVE Guitar is tuned in EADGCE for the tapping sequence at 2:37, and that's pretty much it. No modal or extratonal playing here, simple arpeggios all over the place. @duardoCOB never played the custom. Check it up on the web, but from what I've heard it's basically the same guitar for cheaper. The PRS is actually my brother's, by the way

I found that you can get a very staccato sound by not using alternate picking (ie picking only one way, especially upwards). Cheers TheMuseik!
