Bajaj has introduced the Bajaj Chetak 2901, Bajaj's latest electric scooter designed to offer exceptional value under ₹1 lakh. This model features a robust 2.88 kW fixed battery delivering a practical 123 km range on a single charge, coupled with a respectable top speed of 63 km/h. Its design remains consistent with the Chetak lineup, featuring a sturdy metal body and a variety of vibrant color options.
Key updates include the introduction of a physical key for ignition, replacing the previous keyless entry system. Additionally, the top speed has been optimized to 63 km/h, ensuring efficient power usage without compromising performance. Charging capabilities have also been enhanced with a new offboard charger, extending the charging time to 6 hours.
Connectivity features, such as Bluetooth and app integration for enhanced control, are available through an optional Tech Pack priced at ₹3,000. This upgrade also includes alloy wheels and additional riding modes like eco, sport, and reverse, catering to various riding preferences and conditions.
