Not gunna lie. some times i feel like I am making designs that are top notch and noone else is even close..... then i see your design and I get a slap of reality hahah. this design is NEXT level and really inspires me to reach new heights. I am humbled and impressed
Oh dear it appears I underestimated the demand for this frame! I have 50 of them and they all sold out in four days. I am working on getting 100 more for next batch.
That looks sick! Can you share some flight footage with the bmpcc4k or other heavier cams? Very curious how well it handles the weight considering it's only 4x 6".
I will do more testing when I get some time, but I will say that the footage is rock solid and small split S and roll spins are easily executed with payloads up to 1.5kg and prop guards installed.
This is amazing man wow I’ve been flying the rx0 for years now I know very well how sensitive that gyro is lol I use the moondog labs anamorphic lens when I get home I’m definitely gonna be checking out this frame congrats been following this for awhile now I’m glad you finished it
It depends on what you value. Le Pigeon/Puffin are dialed in to a specific camera, but they are some of the best flying cinema rigs out there. The Vulture on the other hand is very versatile and will open up many camera options for you.
Very nice design : i would be interested 😉 But what's about the weight of the frame and the choice of the motors ? Because it is just a 7" quadcopter : not 8 motors nor an hexacopter 🤔
2200mah to 3300mah 400g to 500g weight. Acro ability will depend on motor size and kv too. 2808 1700kv range will allow small split s and roll spins, but no powerloops or building dives. 2808 to 3008 1900kv will open up more maneuvers at the cost of your battery. If you really want acro though I am getting optional 7 inch vulture props in the next batch which will pair well with 2810 1500kv on 7 inch prop. The caveat with 7inch though is it won't fly as well with small cameras like gopro and rx0ii because of the slower rpm due to light payload you get bobbles in windy conditions. So if going 7 inch you should be mainly using it as a cinema camera rig.
Yes, as long as the VTX has 30.5x30.5 mounting, 20x20, or 25.5x25.5mm hole pattern. OR if it is small enough to stick it to the carbon fiber VTX mount with mounting tape and a zip tie.
I am trying to whittle down my designs anfmd improve my manufacturing process. As such I'll no longer be selling the Vulture. Instead I am designing a new Pigeon and Puffin which will be compatible with many cinema cameras including the micro G2.
Yes, the Vulture won't be replacing these. I placed another order of Pigeon frames today. I do want to redesign my naked bmpcc4k cage though in response to increasing manufacturing costs of the lcd extension system. So you can expect a refresh and improvement of my current design!

Always with the magic, added to my wish list- thank you!

Beautiful Quad! Love that you took extra time to build it!
Pretty epic! Kinda surprised it’s carrying that bmpcc so well!
Yup. Completely bought in. Can’t wait to try out an rx0ii next drift season
This man’s really though of everything!
It is very easy to cary with the bmpcc4k for how small the frame is, right? 6''
Have you tried loading a komodo? is it as versatile?
Komodo payload is just fine! I was getting 4min cruising around with CHNL 2200mah 6s with 1.5kg.
You not only put in the work but had the intelligence to back it. This will definitely end up on a joshua bardwell stream.
Thanks! Put in a good word for me! XD
Absolutely amazing and innovative design! So happy to see this finally see this come out!
Thanks Ferdinand!!!
I’m going to build this setup this year, I can’t thank you enough for being you mate ✊🤝🤝🤝
What a beast, looks incredible as always
looks awesome! love the no tool bumper design.
Something tells me that this frame is underrated. I Love it!
I like the frame and the cam mount system
Amazing!!!! 😍 Any option to carry the naked BMPC??
This design looks great, I'm sure we'll be getting some newer cams in the next year or 2 that will shine on this
I hope so to! I wanted to create a flexible platform in anticipation for new cameras that come out that may be suitable for FPV.
Always wanted to try build a upside down 5inch and mount a bigger cam, this looks so good
Frame Sold Out. When it ready ?

@@strawhatsam please dont increase the prize because of that. I'm from indonesia which is the $ currency is very high in here 😅.
Awesome work dude !
Beautiful Job Sam. Love this design.
Thanks John!

I have a c mount lens adapter kit that allows one to really unleash the full potential of the rx0ii by going direct-to-sensor so stay tuned for that!
@Straw Hat Sam If your adapter is somehow comparable to the Back-Bone Ribcage RX0 II Mod Kit but cheaper then this is fantastic news!!
@@strawhatsam can't wait !!!!!
Hello Sam, would you recommend this drone to a beginner (started with a little 75 whoop)? Thanks for your advice.
Now the main thing is, should I go this way or the le pigeon and le puffin
It depends on what you value. Le Pigeon/Puffin are dialed in to a specific camera, but they are some of the best flying cinema rigs out there. The Vulture on the other hand is very versatile and will open up many camera options for you.

Because it is just a 7" quadcopter : not 8 motors nor an hexacopter 🤔
Which battery do you recommend to use with the bmpcc4k to an acrobatic flight?
2200mah to 3300mah 400g to 500g weight. Acro ability will depend on motor size and kv too. 2808 1700kv range will allow small split s and roll spins, but no powerloops or building dives. 2808 to 3008 1900kv will open up more maneuvers at the cost of your battery. Hey brother, you know Doctorquads here on YT?
I have seen his BF 4.4 RTH GPS video!
what C mount lens is mounted on the rx0 ii at 0:28 ? are the clips at 0:38 shot on that lens?
This looks amazing! Any idea when the frame kit will restock?
This coming week!
Awesome! I'm tempted to buy it just because.... but I have no use for it at the moment. Good work my man.
I fly analog, will the quad work with analog vtx's?
Yes, as long as the VTX has 30.5x30.5 mounting, 20x20, or 25.5x25.5mm hole pattern. OR if it is small enough to stick it to the carbon fiber VTX mount with mounting tape and a zip tie.
Any plans on making more frame kits or a new one? saddly it appears as sold out. Would be aweome to see a similar for for the BM Micro g2? :D
I am trying to whittle down my designs anfmd improve my manufacturing process. As such I'll no longer be selling the Vulture. Instead I am designing a new Pigeon and Puffin which will be compatible with many cinema cameras including the micro G2.
@@strawhatsam That's awesome man. Keen to se what comes out next. Hopefully I don't miss out!
Will you still be making the puffin and pigeon frames as well as the naked bmpcc kits?
Yes, the Vulture won't be replacing these. I placed another order of Pigeon frames today. I do want to redesign my naked bmpcc4k cage though in response to increasing manufacturing costs of the lcd extension system. So you can expect a refresh and improvement of my current design!
@@strawhatsam Stoked to see what you come up with for the new revision. Building my Puffin this weekend.
Why can’t I buy it?
This is exactly what I need! Ordered and looking forward to ripping this thing around.
Frame looks awesome🔥🔥🔥 Are 2808 1500kv motors suitable this frame also?
No I would go with 1700kV and if you can only use 1900kv, start with a 90% motor output limit for testing.
@@strawhatsam Thanks! I found almost same size and KV motors what you recommended.
@@DRSFPV Great news! What are they? I believe there is an Axis flying brand 2807.5 motor out there in 1750kV.
@@strawhatsam Yes! you are right! I just ordered Axisflying 2807.5 1750kv. It's almost same what you recommend for.
One frame to rule them all?!
Yoo this is sick, great job!
Thanks Botgrinder!
Can we imagine it lifting a BGH1 ? :)
The best

not gonna lie, its doesnt look bad
Take my money!
system for mounting main camera is a joke itself
i accidentally disliked OH NO but then i liked so hopefully it retracted it. Sorry lol. Anyways the vulture looks awesome! WANT.
Oohhps! Haha
