The e-tron have more available battery with higher battery temperatures. Ref slight coldgating after the high speed run, the battery was likely not up to temp then. yes, the efficiency obviously sucks, but everything else seems to be fine. i hope they really can improve the efficiency in the next version. if they are also introducing a battery with a higher energy density, they could lower the weight for the same energy which might improve the range a bit too and optionally, they could offer a battery with more than 100kWh net capacity. it will be interesting what they are coming up with. for the switches in the motor control power electronic, they could use SiC technology over GaN, which translates into lower switching losses too. that could add one or two percent of range.
