..Hi! I was approved recently to use Interactive Brokers.. I read , and heard on videos many times, that the market data was delayed by about 15 min.. To be able to upgrade on IB, is necessary 500 dollars at least in account... I compared Trading View charts, and they are in sync (and on TradView said as well the data was 15 min delayed..Today i bought data package (8,88 i think) and upgraded to essencial plan to be able to use/retrieve it (even though i will be billed only after 30 free days).. By my surprise, when i put now the chart from IB next to Trading Vies's chart..is still the same.. I don't see 15 min difference on data.. is the same as before.. The only difference, is nexto the tickers, the "D" orange symbol of delayed data, doesn't appear.. Have i be understanding something wrong about the time of delayed data? Because when you compared data flow on one video between IB and the other chart, is what i experience before and after payed data.. I think i don't need then the payed pan data for now, i think.. Or, is IB not delayed and just limited ? Something i don't understand..

I would recommend seeking out a video that shows trading using TradingView mobile. Last I checked they only supported certain brokers for live trading on mobile, and IBKR was not one of them.

Hey Chris, I have a question unrelated to this video. Do you know how to set up scaling (for example ES contracts) in Sierra; so that if you added 1 after the original entry, then another , and then maybe another. Then scale out either FIFO or LIFO conveniently and quickly base upon the trade action? I using Sierra's platform with Teton routing for trade placement only. Thanks for helping with this connection. Also, I like your new direction but I am curious about something, have you quick day trading? If so, could you share why and what your doing now in the market? I'm interested in your development in the industry. Thank You very much Chris and keep your head up!!!!!!
Win streaks-for me in the past motivates me to do more work, which is fine, but the problem would lead to self sabotaging for me personally. So many trading ideas/indicators. It’s like candy to me. Back than I also wasn’t cemented in my trading style which explains the jump ship sabotage. Luckily I have experience of self sabotage when racing bikes and training adequately. I know the pattern, and it’s not a fun one to be in, it’s revolving door that you never get out of, until you take a break for a long time and reflect. I know how to put my head down and grind, but at some point, how much or too much practice comes into play. It’s a dilemma that I have struggled all my life with anything. Basically trying to hard lol. And I wish I had a Jedi master to help specialize in what matters. Jack of all trades is bullshit and yoda would probably agree too.
Top earners don't like to talk about their success. When you talk about your winning streaks or post PnL somewhere, or discuss about how much money you make, that is the moment it all begins to fall apart.
No I will not be reviewing IBKR Desktop right now as it is not a software I have spent enough time with yet. I continue to recommend TWS over it and you will hear some additional words about this in an upcoming video.

Also how to buy and sell short and long positions. I've never seen anything like that with you. It must be included with something else. Thanks !
