    Just a heads up , at 15:02 , the b/a was 92 94 , just as your order went live. so the 93 fill was ok.

    Another great video! thanks a lot! I have question about how to do auto-attach stop loss order with again condition when our initial conditional order is bought? So i do not need to create sell order manually later.

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  2 месяца назад

      You need to submit a new order with a condition attached to it. There is no other way.

    Do you have a video on the colors you have on your option chain bids/asks? what do those colors tell you?

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  4 месяца назад

      The colors don't say much. What I would be more concerned with is current trade volume and the current order book for an option. Neither are shown just in an options chain.

    Is there anyway to send a price based conditional order via sierra chart that uses IB to execute the trade? Thanks

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes you can achieve this in Sierra. Though if it's just a simple price condition, probably better off just doing it in IBKR.

    Hi Verillo Trading, just found your channel. Do you have a video that goes through using and setting up the tws in more detail? For example, when I tried to drag the option contract to the watchlist and right click to buy, it doesn't show up in the same window underneath the contract. So I am not able to right click on the order and create a condition. It could be a simple oversight from my end, but I am not sure. Hoping for some beginner guidance. Thank you so much!

      What you can do is view the Interactive Brokers videos playlist, one of these videos should help you: ruclips.net/p/PLePBf4ZtCKhqBGXyB1v4xvZiMju6NQlIw If you require personalized remote assistance, this is a service we offer at a cost. www.verrillotrading.com/remote-assistance/

    If there's a way to set it quick or via API... Been wanting that and commented since 3 years ago when u post that vid lol

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  4 месяца назад +1

      I’m thinking API would be the only way of making it quicker from the user perspective. I know going into the order ticket to modify it every time is hectic.

    Hi Verrillo, you mentioned that post only wont work with combo orders. can you please expain rel+lmt and rel+mkt you posted around 23:33. is there a method where i can use that will just give me the midprice for single or combo based on conditional entry and follow the market. I like the post-only which you explained but that is only for single leg, I do alot of spreads, but sometimes only close one leg , depending on the situation. so if there is a method which will just give me the midprice regardless if its combo or single that would be great. thanks in advance

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  Месяц назад

      I do think the only ways to follow the market with a spread trade were shown in this video. The other way would be to write the algorithm yourself or with the help of a coder. You could write in a feature request to IBKR to see if they would add it for spreads.

    is it true that they are going to lower the cash settellement from t+3 to t+1 in the upcoming months ??

  • @loupasternak

    I dont trade options very often , but maybe TWS always defaults to creating a BUY of whatever the strategy is. So when you create the STRAT TO CLOSE , it creates the reverse order type, which when bought, closes the trade. Not really odd if thats what is happening.

    Excuse me, I’d like to ask where can i find these indicators e.g. Rvol ATR in TWS of IB ?

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  3 месяца назад

      They do have ATR, I am not sure about Relative Volume. When you open a chart you select Edit -> Studies, and you can add indicators from there.
