    For constipation, I’ve been told to take a Magnesium Citrate, which helps with that and an added bonus of good sleep. So, take it at night before bedtime. Lots and lots of water is necessary daily to help push that poop out too!

    Ugh the constipation! It’s real. I’m starting my 5th month with the higher dose. I’m the same in weight and only lost 4 pounds. I was disappointed but my doctor said that was good to lose slowly. I also trail walk 2-4 miles 3 days a week and strength train 3 days. Counting my macros getting 150g of protein 50 or less. Trying to get on board with the lifestyle change.

      Hey thanks for watching! Yes, the constipation is miserable at times… and the longer it goes on, I feel bloated and nauseous. You’re doing a really good job! Way better than me actually because I’m not counting macros at all but I will say I make a conscious effort to get as much protein in as I can. Lifestyle change is such a huge part of this and I think it makes all the difference rather than not changing anything at all.

    As a retired overweight veteran and I'm part of my VAs MOVE program. I recently got put on Zeppbound and it's been 2 weeks so far. I've lost a total of 11lbs so far. I think the move program should provide a gym membership. As far as side effects go, the 1st week was severe constipation and the 2nd was nauseous and extremely cold on the day of the shot. I only give myself the shot in my thigh. I just wanted to say good luck on your journey and I look forward to more videos. Remember lots of protein and water

    • @RisaBeesa
      @RisaBeesa  7 месяцев назад +1

      John thank you for your comment! I’m so glad to hear that the MOVE program is hopping aboard the GLP-1 train because it seemed like they were only offering stimulants (like phentermine) when I asked. Right now I’m paying for the compounded semaglutide out of pocket so about $300 per 4ml vial so maybe I should revisit the VA. I’m on phase 3 of MOVE so I think this is the phase where I can request meds. Do you inject in the front of your thigh? The first time I did my injection in the thigh I made the mistake of injecting on the side instead of the front.
      I’m excited for your weeks to come on the new med! It sounds like it’s working for you so far. I also wanted to say thank you for your service!

      It’s going really well! Thanks for asking. I really need to record an update because I have lots of good news to share. It’s just been a matter of getting some quietness in the house so I can record in peace. There was an outfit I tried on a few videos back right before starting compounded semaglutide and it didn’t fit at all… even though the top and jeans were technically my size. I think it would be cool to try them on again in the next update so I can give y’all a visual example of how much this medication has helped me. I appreciate you watching my video! 💚🐝

    Where are you getting it

      I spend part of my time in Vegas so I’m able to use a compounding pharmacy there. But it’s the same price if you go through Henry Meds and they have telehealth available.
