Definitely agree that elite enemies have been opened up to many more paths for taking them down which has been pretty fun to experiment with! I think what AH has in store though to mitigate the ease of all these new anti tank answers might be with the squids and their shields, that and I think the increase in patrols on some maps in my experience play a part too. Glad you’re having a great time though!
I just absolutely love the Recoilless now, not having to deal with any of the BS like being 1 HP away from stripping a Charger Behemoth's leg armor, and being able to actually kill Annihilator Tanks with a single side or back shot (it always struck me as weird that a purpose-designed anti-tank weapon wouldn't be able to kill a tank in one shot even if you target its weak spot). Admittedly Charger Behemoths feel about as easy as old Chargers now that you can headshot them for instant kills, but on the flip side being able to kill Factory Striders with two shots to the head (before the patch I think it used to take three or four) is really nice. It always felt weird that they were most optimally killed by blowing up the chin guns and then just slowly shooting it in the eye or belly with an Autocannon or HMG, because AT weapons and red stratagems just took too long. As for killing dropships, it's nice to be able to kill with one Recoilless shot, but killing the passengers still feels kind of inconsistent. I'm pretty sure that reducing the Dropship's HP to zero while it's still in flight (before it starts hovering) is a guaranteed death for the passengers, and before the buff to Recoilless the only way to do this was a lucky shot to an engine or SEAF SAM. Most of your shots in this video didn't do that for some reason though, maybe the defense mission is coded differently to keep it from just being a Dropship slaughter simulator.
love your content! if you manage to hit the bottom center-ish of a tank while a dropship is bringing it in, it'll one-shot it (which is what caused that floating tank towards the beginning)
I remember when my friends tried this with a partner ready to team reload and they had a blast. For the Bug version, I still have yet to try out the Airburst Rocket Launcher with a partner I trust, lol!
Tip for the rocket striders with the diligence cs, three shots to the 'waist' of the strider will kill, way easier to hit than the rocket launchers and takes about a little less ammo per kill
sometimes yeah, not sure what causes it exactly, have heard people say to wait for the spikes on the nade to come out but sometimes it doesn't work anyway
Hitting the body of the dropship instead of the thrusters kills all the passengers, just btw
also the factory strider can be killed with 1 rocket to the eye or 2 to the backside
Thanks! knew about the eye but not the backside.
never a dull moment in helldivers 2 😭😭😂😂
that one shot to dropship that kill spike is truly the "well, it was a good run, fellas" moment

The fashion Spiked used in this video:
Helmet - AF-50 Noxious Ranger (Chemical Agents Warbond)
Armour - PH-202 Twigsnapper (Viper Commandos Warbond)
Cape - Executioner's Canopy (Viper Commandos Warbond)

Thanks for the tip!
14:30 I laughed so damn hard
16:18 was for science I swear, purely scientific.

Recoiless team reload and a steady aim would be godly anti air
A manpad stratagem would be perfect
Great thumbnail

Will have to try it again!
Are you guys having problems with Thermites bouncing off?

First.
Always no.1
