You're one of the very few people who dont actively stream that i keep notifications on for, and it's because of videos like this. Genuinely the most entertaining Cosmoteer content on here and some of the best content in general that I've seen.
Congrats to Butter on that final shot, it was actually super clutch, aswell as Yoyodada not allowing Antithesis to rotate in a fast enough speed, the ship found its actual purpose, lol
So awesome to see you back! These battles really show the spirit of Cosmoteer in a very special way. Shoutout to Antithesis for being an immensely entertaining pilot.
I just started playing Cosmoteer and find finding these videos super fun to watch. I'm barrelly know much about the game but I found that Anti is such a good player, his maneuverability is too good.
Your little show there is awesome. i am still at episode 25 and wanted to see if this is still going. happy to see thats the case especially after i found alot of fun in playing the game again.
Interesting to watch, new to this channel! I recently started playing Cosmoteer and try to learn the mechanics, seen some guides. I probably do not understand several of the designs and choices, unless there are improvements that can be done. Along some possible pilot issues, mistakes and/or learn the ships better, maybe use a controller or flight-stick. Becomes quite different fight when 1 vs many players, since reduces the APM for the many giving much higher chance to win if have some nimble ships that do some DPS so can chip away. Wonder if mines are underrated, I probably would not be the boss for now. XD
Awesome to see new faces around :p One of the most difficult things about these designs in these videos vs designs made for career mode is that they are optimized purely for credit cost and not for crew. Reactors are very expensive credit-wise, so using larger reactors with longer supply lines is more credit efficient since they produce more power per credit than smaller reactors and you can use fewer of them. But because supply lines can be so long as a result, they tend to use more crew than ships that spam reactors I would not recommend using a controller or a flight stick when piloting in this game, having lots of available hotkeys is very important which is easier with a keyboard. If you find it fun though, frickin go for it When piloting boss ships I find it's actually easier than piloting in a 1v1 if your ship is fast enough and you aren't fighting railguns (in that case it becomes a LOT harder). Mines are actually pretty strong on boss ships I find since they can be quite easily spammed on any side, thus making good 360 degree defenses, and they're just strong in general too I'd be more than happy to answer any other questions, I'm active on the game's discord so feel free to poke me there :p
The Rihkxyrk one is based on a fighter from Star Wars. Star Wars Empire at War is an rts with a lot of good mods, Awakening of the Rebellion is one in which you can see that ship, as a fighter for the faction known as the Black Sun (criminals banded together to challenge the Rebels and Empire)
I hope you get the chance to record again soon! i have been playing since I saw this vid, though I had been wanting to play for a while. maybe after I get used to the controls I'll join you all.
I think the last antithesis ship would be much better if it were a deck cannon ship instead of a railgun ship. Maybe a couple long ones for any that pass in front, but also have a bunch of deck guns facing in all 4 directions. Then the swarming could be attacked.
Hi! Anti here. The issue with using deck cannons on a ship like that is that both tractor beams and deck cannons are roof weapons, and using them together will cause them to block each other. I don't want to block my tractor beams, they are much better rear defense than auxiliary deck cannons are in general, not to mention their usefulness against fast ships that deck cannons have major difficulty hitting, which boss ships like this have to frequently fight. That said, I definitely did not have enough turning thrust and mines would've helped with preventing flanks, I have a revised version in the works right now :p
i prob should have, only problem was fog was turned on for the players meaning i couldn't see what i was fighting. overall though youre right the turning would have been much better.
@@demetrecorinis7116I know it’s hindsight and armchair QBing, it’s just once that armor came off, you were really able to spin around and do great damage. And I think at that point you had seen all the other ships. That one little one digging into the side was pretty harmful, lol. But it’s a cool ship, and it’s neat how the armor can be ejected!
Nice long video "Felt cute, might delete later" was the original saying and it was primarily used by girls on instagram fishing for compliments when posting a pic. It was then heavily made fun of. Youd see dudes decked out in army gear with a girly pose etc. 😊
ah that is good info, for now i think illegal ships is good enough for ease of compatibility. if we have too much cheating tho I will for sure move to this
jcor's ship has multiple layers of armour on all sides, with the ability to detach them via explosive charges. that's why the armour pieces look mostly disconnected

16 Tractor Beams on that ship in the last match.
That nuke boss from Antithesis is amazing. I've noticed Anithesis has a lot of great ships tbh.
anti is a major member of cosmoteer's pvp community, they're a really good player

I started playing this game just 2 weeks ago and its such a blast, great to find so much inspiration from your videos and many others!
I love how Yoyo went from "Maybe I should kick this guy for throwing" to being absolutely pivotal in their teams victory.
Yoyo has reminded me to add more turning thrust.
I love this format so much. Super fun to watch.
24:21 That paint job from Antithesis is *incredible*.
Hi! Anti here. That is not my paintjob, it was done by kine as a reward for winning an unofficial tournament. He's an outstanding painter.
that ship is actually painted by kine

How kine just sacrificed his mate at 52:20 is hilarious. Looked like purpesfully not letting him escape.
I appreciate the 4k presentation.

10:57 That ship got completely obliterated and shielded the ship behind him.

Another great Boss fight!
What about the old intro melody and animation sequence? How about bringing it back?
you got it, next vid, it was on the old computer but ill try to extract the sound and make another
Good video
I feel like antithesis is the final boss of this game. Though yoyo kinda griefed with how often he blocked the hole in antis ship tbh
Sry :l
Anithesis was the MVP in these games imo
jcorinis should have shed his armor much sooner, especially while he had all of his maneuverability.

YES!!
I get the impression that if Antithesis played MTG, he'd play control...

Match 2 was weird. Unless I am blind half his boss ship was hanging on by a single armour piece for half the match.
