The update has definitely made this kind of run more interesting and fun. Great to see you engaging enemies instead of just trying to run away as much as possible
Yeah, I'm glad they made the changes. You still have to run sometimes, but not as much as before. Yet somehow, running away the majority of your games, which turns into a running/walking simulator, is way more fun for those that hate the buffs than being able to engage the enemy without being outgunned the majority of the time
You see our play styles are a bit different, you go in and don’t die; you don’t even take damage. I go in, die 4 times in a row, somehow do all the missions without dying (again), use enough stims to march on Paris, get to the extraction and die twice leading to no extraction.
I do it, but only cause 60% of the time randoms are oblivious to loot and higher level players don't even bother picking up samples cause they already unlocked everything.
You should attempt this challenge on a jungle planet next. You have to get much closer to take out certain things and it's more difficult to clear out some objectives.
When I play a game like this I avoid tutorials online and playthrough guides for a bit. I like to find my own strats. I am a bot diver 100%. I only go to bug worlds when the MO is looking dicey. I like to do my part but bugs aren't that fun for me. But back to my point; I started out as a guns blazing aggro pulling war criminal. Then I did a stealth run for the hell(diver) of it and I was hooked. This playstyle of killing as little as possible but completely sweeping the map feels so badass. Seeing that your playstyle is basically the perfected and refined version of the style I wound up using is so cool. Usually when I start seeing the tutorials and play-throughs of games I enjoy I am faced with all the mistakes I have baked into my muscle memory. You've helped me see that I really don't need to adjust that much to get where you are. Instead I just need to perfect and refine my approach (and also stop landing within range of enemy artillery next to the gunship fab).
Love playing with most randoms but many don’t understand after you clear an objective you don’t need to stay there and engage every damn thing! Smooth work helldiver.
This is a great guide for bots. Dont get too close, keep them in front of you, engage at a distance and from cover and dont stick around one spot too long. I just can't get my teammates to play like this, they have to engage everything they see. Great gameplay, subbed.
Honestly this is incredible, but at the same time I'm wondering even how. Like throughout the whole mission at level 10 you're rarely ever actually shot at but whenever I play on like level 5, if I so much as breathe too hard I get a rainstorm of red shots and usually leave each mission with like 500+ kills. I don't get it.
That's what I'm thinking it's like the game doesn't even spawn 15 hulks and 40 heavy devastators on him. Hell I fart once and they hear it and call 8 dropships on me
@@LuisRamos84 when i played with all 4 of my teammates and i wearing scout armor it felt like this. enemies really cannot see you and youre right there

this would be so cool from a lore perspective. a helldiver that goes in solo, kills only what he absolutely needs to, but ruthlessly efficient. able to throw him on a horribly difficult mission alone just for him to come back with the whole place wiped out and not a scratch on him
when your able to take out fabricators with just a shot to the side with a recoilless. Higher difficulty they need to make these objectives and side objectives harder. Smart thinking.
I thought I was okay at the game for doing no death solo. I always thought no damage was impossible against automatons because of how random their aimbot is. From now on, I’ll be using the dome shield before engaging enemies at an objective. Regardless, I think the dome shield needs some love.
This is getting Dark Souls level of ridiculous. Do ,,no damage / no roll / all enemies / pacifist run " next while you play on a DDR pad and blindfolded. Well done good sir, well done.
Arrowhead should really set up a ranking system for Helldiver squads based on certain categories like kills/deaths/time in combination with the objectives you complete to reward those players who create such elaborate content. I found an interesting tactic regarding stealth sniping against the automaton; I posted a short about it. Even if you eliminate one bot staring directly at another, they will have no alert reaction. It doesn't work with Explosive rounds.
In the first attempt, I tried to destroy the tower using Hellbomb, but there were so many patrols around me. So I thought it would be hard to run away if it wasn't now
Taking notes on all you did for this mission, amazing work! Also I know this might seem off topic, but here’s for anyone who feels they’ve lost hope and needs to hear this: whether you believe in Heaven or not, consider this, if there was a Heaven, are you sure you’d go there after death? If you’re not sure, here you go: God loves you, and he became a human as Jesus, died to take the penalty for anything wrong you’d ever do, and rose from the dead. Sin is disobedience to Jesus’ commandments for how to live, and sin separates us from him- if you want to be saved from hell and be with God forever after death, just believe in Jesus and what he did (John 3:16) and turn away from habits of sin (Luke 13:3). That’s it. Our actions are the evidence for whether our faith is real (James 2:17), but since everyone fails on a daily basis, we aren’t saved by our actions, but only by God’s mercy (Ephesians 2:8-9), so when we fail, all we need to do is confess our sins to God, and continue fighting (1 John 1:9). Hopefully this helps anybody in need, and I hope you have a great day!

Patrols are a little more complicated, because they keep fiddeling with the system on how it works. The basic rules are, there is always a patrol that knows where the player is and will spawn it and send it towards you. If you idle long enough, it will catch up to you.
