Hey guys thanks for watching! Do you like the Montclair? Don't forget to like the video and make sure to subscribe to our channel to see more cars like this in the future!
I am just besotted with American cars of this period.......I spend a lot of time looking at them on RUclips...........but I cannot recall ever seeing a more beautiful car .....and I have seen a lot on RUclips.......I really think the Mercury division of the Ford Motor Company is exceptional. Greetings from Australia Les Griffiths
My Mother and Father owned a 56 Montclair and it was a great car. My Dad was a Mercury man after he returned from WW 2. I often think about that car and this one brings back a lot of fond memories. I just hope whoever is the lucky new owner treasures it. Absolutely one of the most beautiful I have ever seen this was Detroit's zenith in design and cars had the distinction and you would know a Chevy from a Ford or Plymouth, today's offerings are nothing more than generic eggbeaters in the world of transportation.
Had a 55 Merc Monarch and a 56 , both were the best cars I ever owned. I couldn't kill these cars , and I was hard on cars at the time. Thank you for my memories of these great cars.
My next door neighbors had this car(different color) the first time I rode in it was at night. When they opened the door for me to get into the backseat and I saw that Mercury logo in lights above the armrest ....I was in love.
Park this baby on a pedestal and let the world enjoy it!!! TWO TONE AND FULLA CHROME!!!! Just a timepiece with an authentic enteral spirit from the 50s!!!!!!
Nice 56 merc my uncle had the twin to this baby back in the day would be cool if this was his he bought it new so glad you are back Greg u r a great salesman & person 🇺🇸👍👍👍
As a guy in his late 20s, I would happily commute to work every in something like this. Meanwhile my colleagues are driving their 4 door Chevy aveos, Skoda Octavia's and Fiat Tipo's
Yes this one is sweet. Glad to see they did the seats in the correct pattern or close to it. The trunk emblem that you pointed out is reproduced but it costs $195 (ouch!!) Someday I hope to get a less fancy one like a Custom or Monterey 2 door sedan and make a police car out of it like the ones on the Highway Patrol TV show.
My dad (@62yo) just bought a car like this. Reminded him of an old neighbor and he can’t wait to get the engine going and drive her Around. I see it as a project to turn wrenches on and share some laughs with the old man.
I have a 1955 Mercury Monterey 4 door in mint condition with no rust. I have a pair of spotlights with the mirror on the back of them. They look good on a 1955 Mercury Monterey. I am wanting to sell the spot lights. Please let me know if you are interested.

Like 65 years ago! May 1956 and this baby just rolled off the line. Perfect!
It would have been great if this interior upholstery could have been carried over to the 1957s.
This is my first time seeing this car, it is a work of Art!

I still like my 55 Chevy 210 w/ 265 better (chevy guy ) but I have to admit this a lovely Merc. Beautiful .
Has it got the old "teapot" four barrel?
I'd be afraid to drive it. 😱Lol
