I've got a Lasko box fan that's a decade old and still going strong.

The older lasko fans were made better and lasted longer the newer lasko fans aren't made as well so don't expect it to last more then a year or two years

@@Bobbythefanman Sadly that seems to be the way with everything these days.

i have the same fan as well also too but mine is black and they have this same or different model but the same style fan from Home Depot. the high speed 3 is not as loud but a lot quietest startup sounds.

I bought this fan today from Walmart and it's already a $43 now. Darn inflation! It is a little loud, in my opinion. 😮

I have a tower fan that dying and only had it for 3 years, compared to the pedestal fan i used to have that last least 10+ years before replacing. Debating if should go back to pedestal fans

Will you convince Lasko to make their 18-inch 3 blade stand fans with full metal guards?

This is 65$ at Walmart. The Mainstay is half this price and has a metal stand and fan guard.

Thanks for this helpful video, it helped when I ran into problems assembling this exact unit. (I’m not mechanical at all lol)

So far so good! We’ve used it a lot over the summers and it’s survived a few knock overs. Still working good!

I already have a tower fan in my loft and I am trying to decide between a box fan vs a pedestal fan as a second on in the room. Any thoughts? Thanks for the video!

I agree! I purchased two today for my upstairs and they are definitely loud, even on the lowest speed.
