I like that it is relatively quiet for how much air it moves. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxmj9RYGCX25BElHkuWjHec-2_muyUGyCm Was easy to put together. Note: The spindle cap is threaded backwards to keep it from spinning off during use, so remember to turn it the "other way". I also like that the lights, which are quite bright, turn off after a few moments so they do not bother me at night. The remote has to be aimed just right, but does work.
I figured out how to get the front grill on. The newer models don't have those tabs, so you gotta basically fit it in a way where the back grill slightly overlaps the front one around the edge. It's not hard, but definitely not explained well in the manual or video. Basically, just push it inward until it's "in" around the whole thing

I got a Lasko 18" oscillating fan from Costco today for $40. It has a remote, oscillating, timer, and thermostat. It moves a lot if air. I am a poor guy so Lasko works for me. It is assembled in the US which was a selling point for me. I also have a Lasko box fan which has been working great for years. Overall I am very pleased with the product. Good job!

I'm also disappointed at myself for not reading this fan's reviews before I bought it, because I'm sure the reviews would have signaled me to purchase a different product! BUT, that's ok, I'll be doing my own review for the person who's smart enough to read reviews on this fan!! 😂 My review won't be nice!!😂 This lady gave very clear instructions in this video!

I will continue to buy Lasko fans, I was a Vornado fan fan, but you can’t take them apart or clean them very easily at all. Lasko is so simple to disassemble and clean. Mines going on about maybe 3 to 5 years or longer now. My last Vornado quit before 2 years.

My small A/C unit can't keep up with the heat. I tilted the fan over my A/C output area and the temperature in my apartment has been exactly what I set the A/C unit to ever since. My second purchase from COSTCO, I assembled it following the instructions, it worked but without the FRONT GRILL because the blade or fan pushed backed behind the rear grill, a visitor made it worked ( I do not know how it was done. I am now using it and what a relief having air circulating in my bedroom...😉😉😉🇺🇸🇵🇭
Understood the manual just fine. Only part I was confused about was mounting the front grill. The manual didn’t explain it well, but after watching this video I somehow figured it out (the model in this video is different from mine).
I still haven't accomplished that and it's the one part they did not show in the video. She just sort of placed the grill on the fan. I wish they had shown a closeup of the inserts!
Lol i feel so dumb this video is a life saver cause on my Lasko 5 speed fan the guard nut kept coming off i didn't know what to do this helped a lot thanks 👍👍❤❤
She did a great job on the video. After the easy assembly it worked great. However, after running it overnight and turning it off the next morning, we had a brief power outage. Now it will not run at all, whether by using the remote or pushing the start button on the fan itself. Is there a reset button or some other way to get it running again? We only used it one day before failure. We have had two of these models go dead on us. :-(
Also when are you going to add a screw at the bottom of the base and heads of all stand fans because I am not going to be using hairpins to make sure the base does not fall off while moving it or use tape to wrap around the neck.
This fan is a game changer and the fan is so freaking loud which is good for me because I need the white noise to keep me asleep like my old fan was super loud and it was a box fan but this one just overpowers it
Thank you so much for this informative video. I assembled this. Believe me, I'm not handy in the least bit so was so surprised I was able to put this together myself.
Great step by step video! The instructions included were missing several key steps and instructions! I'm disappointed that the fan does not the same height capability or quality that I've bought in the past.
I have several LASKO Fans and this one doesn’t have on front grill any tabs to snap together to the back grill. It seems to work good enough resting inside the back for the most part. Otherwise this fan is much better in ventilation than my smaller versions, so I’m happy
I've had two Lasco pedestal fans. The first one quit after only a couple of months. The second one worked for several years and then one day my wife went to turn it on and it shocked the hell out of her.
Did you figure anything out? Saw some earlier comments say something about wrapping tape around the extension pole so it would fit more snug into the base 🤷🏿♂️
I purchased a 18 inch Lasko Cyclone (grey) and I was playing with the settings. Level 3 is super powerful the curtains in the room blowing all over the place
Does the front grill go kind of inside the back grill? That's the only way I was able to get them to stay together & it's vibrating really loud and I've checked it's on an even floor and everything is tightened did you have this issue?
Assembled just fine, but noticed the camera did not show the full length of the fan once assembled & running and wondered if the fan in the video had the same issue as mine. The fan head and motor are a bit too heavy for the extension of the pedestal pipe to remain at the height desired, even with tightening the nut. So, I added a clamp just above the nut to keep the height desired.
The instructions that come with these fans don’t say anything about the flanged end not even how to put it inside the large diameter pipe. Thank you for the video.
My newer fan doesn't have those tabs for installing the front grill. It was easiest for me to lay the fan down on the floor to pop in the front grill that way.
It took me like 2 months to figure out how to keep the fan in one position. Then at 3:31 am, I couldn’t take the heat in my room so I said “I’m going to find a video” well I could not find one flipin video. Then I realize I spent 2 MONTHS TRYING TO PULL A KNOB! I’m so done with life x_x
you have problems with the knob if oil in your house on screw the back of the fan the speed knob and ocerlater need oil just a little of oil for the two knobs ocerlater and speeds play with the two knobs wile the is on plug from the wall don't stop on till 3 minutes don't stop on till 3 minutes when 3 minutes pass then you could stop and try it out and tell me how well it work
Should have noted in video to push the motor forward when you put the back grille on, so that you can then attach the guard nut! The booklet that came with it was a joke, almost returned this fan but then saw in the booklet it said how to video!
Give this woman some royalties 10 years later and she is still helping. Thank you very much!
Can’t believe I had to watch this video to put together the most simplest types of fans!

Video is super helpful! I out it together with no problem! I will be buying more Lasko products in the near future!
Thank you. Excellent video, Very clear
My front grill doesnt fit into the back
My front grill want fit because it doesn't have notchs. $21.00 piece shit.
@@davidrustyparker9696 you just push it in. Work your way from either the top or bottom, to the opposite side
I've had two Lasco pedestal fans. The first one quit after only a couple of months. The second one worked for several years and then one day my wife went to turn it on and it shocked the hell out of her.
Anyways to secure into base? It comes off easy when I need to lift and move the fan
Did you figure anything out? Saw some earlier comments say something about wrapping tape around the extension pole so it would fit more snug into the base 🤷🏿♂️
@@dramafreeloner no. I think that’s a good idea to wrap around with tape
Thank you so much I just purchased one of your fans thank you for helping me to put it together thank you.
This was excellent. Mine had no instructions. This was easy to follow.
p.s. I think a fan with screws would be safer.
This was much more helpful than the Users Guide. I’m watching this in July of 2018...smh
MY SPINNER DOESNT FIT ON THE THINGNPLS HELP ME
fucking same
Braylon Williams LMAO GIRL I REMEMBER THE FRUSTRATION
same here
Meg Halsey i actually got it to go on after restarting the whole process
Thank you so very much Delysa, you dd an awsome job of showing us how to assemble the Lasko Stand Fan!!!
I truly liked the video. It helped me to assemble the fan for my daughter. Thanks for the instruction. .
Really good instructional video I was up and running in less than 10 minutes
I purchased a 18 inch Lasko Cyclone (grey) and I was playing with the settings. Level 3 is super powerful the curtains in the room blowing all over the place
Does the front grill go kind of inside the back grill? That's the only way I was able to get them to stay together & it's vibrating really loud and I've checked it's on an even floor and everything is tightened did you have this issue?
Calm clear concise and beautiful!
I LOVE THIS FAN!!! I HAVE HUNDREDS!!!
That was super! You made that sooo easy and clear. 😉 Thanks a million.
Built in less than 5 minutes, my second time buying it.
I buy this today it’s working really good...thank you so much for share that video make my time easy
A lot of fans now have fuse plugs. One thing lasko fan need to improve is to create a plug with removable fuse.
Darren78 exactly
The instructions that come with these fans don’t say anything about the flanged end not even how to put it inside the large diameter pipe. Thank you for the video.
My newer fan doesn't have those tabs for installing the front grill. It was easiest for me to lay the fan down on the floor to pop in the front grill that way.
I'm going to buy one of these at pricesmart in the Dominican Republic in 3 weeks saving money for it looks like a very good fan.
Thank you!
This is the first product out of a box that takes me less than 2 min to build!
