Thank you Bucking Billy Ray! The wind bomb left our home and property in a disaster and you saved us. The food bank will get a generous gift in your name and the neighbors will get free wood for always being good to us. Thanks for showing there is real goodness in the world. Hey man. I live here in western North Carolina where we got hit by the most devastating storm this region has ever seen. Since it hit, I have yet to write an invoice for any of my work either. I’ve been surviving on the generosity of others unaffected that support the work I’m doing. It’s so important to give back and offer services to those who would otherwise not be able to afford it. Thanks for being another example of that. It’s good to see I’m not the only one. Much love and keep it up.

@ it ain’t easy brother…entire towns have been wiped off the map, people sleeping in “hot tents” or on the streets in 20 degrees who used to have homes. Insurance claims denied everywhere. Just got potable water back after two months without. Can’t go anywhere without reliving the trauma. We haven’t even managed to make a dent in the recovery for many areas. The trauma here is palpable. Of course the news has long since moved on…but we are still here…

    • @Mightycaptain

@@johnjay5143you obviously don't live here. DT isn't going to speed this up at all. You don't understand just how wrecked WNC is. If you had a million people who's only jobs where to rebuild roads remove trees and rebuild houses and they had unlimited money and unlimited supplies and unlimited access to heavy equipment it would still take the next three or four years to even come close to a full recovery. And no president is sending that kind of help at one time and to have it stay here for that long.

“Fence Posting”, like “Domino Falling” (“in”famously in your Outro’s/years ago video), is controversial and dangerous… but, like you said: it gives you options, which is invaluable. Knowledge is power, more tools in your toolbox. I think people get too invested in a certain mindset/technique and then become myopic, limited, and complacent, so when they see something that they didn’t consider/goes against “their upbringing”, they go against it automatically, become defensive, and rationalize/ego massage their own lack of options and creativity; which is a fallacy. Whatever works with the resources at hand; most people can’t throw money (and time) at possible solutions. It worked. Simple as that. Keep up the good work, Billy!

Buckin" I have been waiting for this video for years. Originally found you years ago by searching how to drop a hung up leaner tree. Subscribed and have been a regular viewer ever since. I have dropped smaller hung up leaners from my woods but have very tall ash caught up in a v of another tree that I have been letting age. Nature has not dropped it on its own. Good to see that you used the same methods that I a weekend warrior used. When the time comes on mine i will use a cable and winch to help direct the free side of the stump as I cannot allow it to invert and go the other direction. Still going to be sketchy. Stay safe. Enjoy your attitude and your content.

Just discovered your channel. Its awesome. I also love old fords and chainsaws. The bomb cyclone hit us hard in my area. Im still cleaning up damage at work. I have one big cedar jammed between two other trees and suspended off the ground. About 15 feet up, tree is laying horizontal. Its one of those sketchy ones.

Storm damaged trees are sketchy at beast! I never tried what you are doing here but looks like it's something to keep in your pocket for the big IF it is ever needed to be tried. Nice work and great video!

Lol, the excitement I feel from watching your crazy awesome techniques. I would definitely do this, but when my husband isn't watching! He knows that I'm super capable, although my sense of adventure in felling trees scares the crap outa him 😂

Check your wires and distributor on your truck. Wires might be cracked or the distributor might have moisture trapped in it from the temp cycling from hot engine to real cold. Hope she purrs for ya! Love your vidjayoes!
