That's going to be a PIA to adjust every time you change from sand to dirt setup. I will wait for proper springs and add some bottom-out resistance in valving. Good for tinkerers to spend quality time in the garage.
I'd think they would have improved the ride height specs in '24 the same way they corrected the X3's in '22. Subsequent video review says mixed results.
Where you not able to lift the front of the floor and then just "screw" the lower springs? That way you can move whole spring essemble up or down as you desire. No need to compress the lower spring to take tension of the nut. This way you only have to use the "spring nut too"l to lose or thighten the lock nut I at least have used this method on my X3 with good results. Can't see why is should be any different on this new model
Then they should be so little tension on the springs you should be able to screw them by hand. Also if it can be avoided, it is better not to force down the adjuster nut on aluminum shock body threads.
Thank you so much. I’m in Florida and we have mostly mud and some dirt. When I ride fast on constant bumps it feels super rough.
These adjustments should help a lot
Can’t wait to see the results!
Been good so far

I put my dirt tires back on and the axle angles remained the same

thanks for watching!
I like your Thinking!
How many turns did it take?
Lots!
@@HooverManeuvers I’m just thinking can I do 5-turns and call it good?
@@duneme I did a lot more than that. About 1-3/4" in the rear. About 1-1/4" in the front.
@@HooverManeuvers I’m just waiting to hear how it performs!
Good luck!
I gotta get me one of those R’s!
Do you set up the Driver’s side higher to account for driver weight?
Trying to say I'm fat? Lol. No. I usually have a passenger
Did your rear end buck more after this adjustment?
No. I think because when it's low it's closer to the bump zone. Raising the shock (increasing preload) put the static height back in the plush zone.
Where do you get the spec for axle angle? Why do you choose 17-19 degrees?
Recommended by MTS Off-Road
Did you scrub out before checking axle angles?
yes. rolled the car backwards and forwards several feet, rolling forward last.
Nice
Thanks!
You need to ajust the Toe now ?
I should have checked to see if there was any difference. But had no ill results

the front tires were off the ground

Radius rod is still a single sheer..
yes, that's been pointed out before
How are you getting that in your toy hauler?
I drive it in from the back:). 88 inches wide now
What wheels are you using?
Price Designs. 15x8 and 15x11
What width are you at now following the change?
90" with sand tires
@@HooverManeuvers so no change even though it was lifted up?
@@terrythompson448 I'll double check but probably no more than 1/2"
Holy crap! It's only 88 inches now!
That does not surprise me which is why I asked. Thanks for the responses.
