Thanks for the video, I can't think of anyone else to basically sum up that much info about the Bruins. Out of all these guys mentioned for trade Brock Nelson hits me the most. That would be awesome to have him on the team. Zegras would be good too however struggling point-wise is ok but struggling due to injuries is a red flag for me. Kazri would be great for the last season, not this one (to get guy this old is good if you're running for the cup, this year I don't believe in it) and as for Farabee I don't know if Bruins have enough leverage to get this guy on our team. If they do that would be also great addition.
Nelson amd Farabee would be nice additions. To make it work better, Hanpus should go on LTIR. Not only to free money for oncoming players, but also as we saw with Kevyn Miller, kneecaps need so much time to heal fully. Im all for keeping Hampus out until next season to make sure he can get to 100%. Miller suffered too many setbacks and it definitely shortened his career.
I’ve heard they’re also linked to Lawson Crouse. Personally I wouldn’t go for zegres, he doesn’t fit Boston culture. He still acts like a kid and immature sometimes and I just don’t think he would mesh well in that locker room. Plus who knows if he can get his game back together
Boston culture isn’t good and too comfortable. Say the right things but are too comfortable. They won 1 cup in 2011 due to their goaltender. The culture is way overrated. The front office can’t develop young talents or destroys them through Sweeney favoring the vets, even when they suck.

When the Blue Jackets scored their second short handed goal, I actually laughed out loud tonight. I then realized I hadn’t been yelling at my TV all night. No chiding the home team for their constant backing ins, lack of effort, nor the many mishandlings. That’s when it dawned on me, I am no longer watching the games with any optimism. I am now watching the games to see if they can outdo themselves on their ineptness ! Unfortunately, they do not disappoint !

They are overthinking every move they make. They’re not playing by instinct. Trying to make the perfect plays and screwing up the timing of most of their plays. When you’re afraid of making mistakes you will make mistakes by overthinking.

Swayman struggling? Maybe, but part of it is having a dismal PK and top rank in penalties. Many goals on Swayman, and Korpi for that matter, have the D out of position. Can’t dig to get puck out of zone, and on and on. Chemistry is lacking for unknown reasons. We have the talent and I think Monty and Brad need to step up and light a fire - somewhere.
A trade could possibly help, at this point. The problems are many, but with some work, a few of those problems could be fixed. The defense and goaltending are playing well below what is possible from them. Those could be fixed without a trade. The real problem, which was somehow mitigated last year are now paunfully obvious. Aside from Pasta and Marchy, our forward group is terrible. A forward group of primarily bottom 6 players. A trade could help in the short term, but it wont fix the problem.

By all means if they can swing a fair deal that may help the team out, then go for it. Having said that I don't think we are at any panic stage yet or should we give up on the season to start a rebuild. This team simply needs to fix their special teams. Last few games they have not marched to the penalty box as much as the start of the year but while the penalty kill has shown signs of turning itself around, a little, the powerplay is simply atrocious. Fix the special teams and this will instantly boost our goaltenders stats etc. and should increase our wins. We had the least goals allowed 5v5 up until the last couple games. Perhaps for once this team will face adversity in the beginning of the season and finish strong right through the playoffs instead of the opposite way LOL Fingers crossed !!!!

Realistically this team has no shot at winning the Stanley Cup. And there is no fix available that can save this season. So they should go into the trade deadline as seller, instead of buyer, like they always are. Teams will be a little more desperate and pay more for the talent they think they need to get over the hump. Get some assets and then hire someone that knows how to evaluate talent and score in the draft. I love the Bruins (and have for 60 years) but I have to be honest and know this team is fractured. Time for a retool.

looking to trade anyone for WHAT? or WHO? they are top 5 in goals allowed , they are #1 in short handed goals allowed maybe it is the system and the players and the management. the more we try to analyze the issues we tend to ignore the obvious. decisions from the top are the biggest cause. Zegras- head case, Hall been there done that (has been) look at all the players that have been traded or let go and are having success on other teams.
Hind sight is 20-20 I know but I wish it was Swayman playing for the Senators instead of Uhllmark. Right now , it's sad to say , Korpisalo has the better numbers.

I think the team identity is over used. Know thyself and know your opponents. You can't run and gun with some teams. Defense first is always a hockey axiom.
Honestly, they should have tried everything under the sun to get Crosby to come over before he extended. They don't have a true #1 centre and arguably just barely have a #2 in Lindholm. Coyle may be the best 3rd line centre in the entire NHL, but neither he nor Zacha are top 6 guys, meaning that Zacha could go if they did get a true top centre. Sid and Marchand have wicked chemistry, and with the Penguins sinking faster than the Titanic, he might eventually be willing to let the whole one-team-for-life notion go. Throw Zacha, Zadorov (who hasn't really fit in with the Bs), and whatever other scraps (the worst couple of prospect you've got) into an offer and Kyle Dumbass would probably jump at it. He's so stupid he'd likely even retain a ton of Sid's salary! The hardest part of the deal would be getting Sid to let go of the Penguins fading hope, but he and Marchy are great buds, so he might just do it-particularly if Malkin is kicking around the idea of retiring at the end of this season (as has been rumoured) and Letang wants to finish his career with the Habs.

NOT Nazem Kadri. Although he’s matured, I recall him costing the Leafs two playoff series losses against the Bruins (2018 and 2019?) by taking bad penalties. That was hilarious. BUT not unlike 2014-2015/2015-2016 when Bruins missed the playoffs by just a couple of games: they played great in most of December of 2014 and 2015, then hit a skid late in the month because Marchand slew-foots and gets suspended 2-3 games (twice in consecutive years), THEN they play that stupid gimmick outdoor hockey game (that just screws up the team’s routine). And couldn’t recover the mojo they had in early to mid December.
I think you're full of it. Cam nearly never said a word until Swayman took this to the limit. And because Swayman never played a minute until the season began he left his teammates hanging out to dry through all of the physical regimen and preseason games. I don't care how much he says he was "working"on his own. And there is no doubt in my mind that a netminder with barely a full year of experience and roughly a half a seasons worth of starts asking for what he was asking also frosted more than a couple of people. Do not lay one comment by Cam Neely on this. There's no doubt in my mind that swayman has alienated more than a couple of teammates and created a rift in the room. The b's not only changed over a fair amount of personnel but they also changed change their make up from a team that was more talent than tough to a much heavier style of play. This is going to take time to begin with and having Swayman be the fly in the ointment was the last thing they needed.

looking to trade anyone for WHAT? or WHO? they are top 5 in goals allowed , they are #1 in short handed goals allowed maybe it is the system and the players and the management. the more we try to analyze the issues we tend to ignore the obvious. decisions from the top are the biggest cause. Zegras- head case, Hall been there done that (has been) look at all the players that have been traded or let go and are having success on other teams.

Honestly, they should have tried everything under the sun to get Crosby to come over before he extended. They don't have a true #1 centre and arguably just barely have a #2 in Lindholm. Coyle may be the best 3rd line centre in the entire NHL, but neither he nor Zacha are top 6 guys, meaning that Zacha could go if they did get a true top centre. Sid and Marchand have wicked chemistry, and with the Penguins sinking faster than the Titanic, he might eventually be willing to let the whole one-team-for-life notion go. Throw Zacha, Zadorov (who hasn't really fit in with the Bs), and whatever other scraps (the worst couple of prospect you've got) into an offer and Kyle Dumbass would probably jump at it. He's so stupid he'd likely even retain a ton of Sid's salary! The hardest part of the deal would be getting Sid to let go of the Penguins fading hope, but he and Marchy are great buds, so he might just do it-particularly if Malkin is kicking around the idea of retiring at the end of this season (as has been rumoured) and Letang wants to finish his career with the Habs.

Why not try other players for change in power play like Lohrei, Zadorov, Koepke, Brazeau, Beecher or Federic sse what happens. Switch it up. But its going to be hard if u was try to trade any players make the team more tougher. But i wouldnt trade Federic at all has the heart of the team . Ill move Geekie at $2m would help on cap . But bruins not that bad their something going on we dont kno about . But the coach needs to have talk to players so they dont over preasure themselves. Take game at a time thats all. Hopefully they can turn around Sway is sway .

NOT Nazem Kadri. Although he’s matured, I recall him costing the Leafs two playoff series losses against the Bruins (2018 and 2019?) by taking bad penalties. That was hilarious. BUT not unlike 2014-2015/2015-2016 when Bruins missed the playoffs by just a couple of games: they played great in most of December of 2014 and 2015, then hit a skid late in the month because Marchand slew-foots and gets suspended 2-3 games (twice in consecutive years), THEN they play that stupid gimmick outdoor hockey game (that just screws up the team’s routine). And couldn’t recover the mojo they had in early to mid December.

I think you're full of it. Cam nearly never said a word until Swayman took this to the limit. And because Swayman never played a minute until the season began he left his teammates hanging out to dry through all of the physical regimen and preseason games. I don't care how much he says he was "working"on his own. And there is no doubt in my mind that a netminder with barely a full year of experience and roughly a half a seasons worth of starts asking for what he was asking also frosted more than a couple of people. Do not lay one comment by Cam Neely on this. There's no doubt in my mind that swayman has alienated more than a couple of teammates and created a rift in the room. The b's not only changed over a fair amount of personnel but they also changed change their make up from a team that was more talent than tough to a much heavier style of play. This is going to take time to begin with and having Swayman be the fly in the ointment was the last thing they needed.
