Currently 43 here 44 in 4 days time haha love this sci fi show, best tv show of all time! I watch it every year 1080p at the RARBG torrents best quality ever made, and puts my DVD's of Lexx to shame and looks amazing on 4k TV. Actualy I watch it every year but as drunk as I can get so I forget the show after, and next year I watch it, it's like new again well almost like new. Makes me kinda sad thinking about every year, how many times left will I live to re-watch it until the actors die in real life, if I don't go before them that is. I mean there's something sad about watching a cool tv show, but knowing the person acting in it isn't alive anymore, It just makes me so sad.

Years ago when I was in basic the drill seargents gave us a task. It was more for laughs for them. It was to make a battle hymn, they didnt care where it came from. It was to pass the time but one private remembered this song. In one day he had us know this song from memory like he did. That day we won the little compilation, that day the whole company except our platoon got smoked. After I got to my unit I saw this show on TV and the song came on. Wont lie a big smile formed on my face lol

Babylon 5 is the work of a genius. Michael Strazinski. Not to mention all the Hollywood espionage that surrounds it's creation.... Basically, Paramount stole all his ideas and made Deep Space Nine. As a fan of both shows, I can say they absolutely stole his work..... corporate assholes

My two sons (2yo/5yo) tend to sing this song pretty often. The chance is very low that they'll ever understand where the song came from or will ever meet someone that will say "Man... that song you guys are singing... I know that, too!" ... but hey, they'll carry on the legacy in some way and they somehow make me proud every time I listen to them.

I remember watching Season 2 of this show and wondering how they all got together and got such a powerful ship, soon I learned of these gems and I so wanted to watch them. Of course they were only on Showtime and all I had was crappy HBO at the time so I had my friend tape all 4 of them, to this day I still have all these episodes on VHS and of course got the DVD sets. Love love love this show, it really pushed into what Sci-Fi didn't want to tread into.
It was popular in Russia in 1996 or 1997, since first season was sold as a pirate copy on 4 VHS with single voice dubbing. Then, a year or two later, it was officially shown on TV channel with multivoice dubbing. All next seasons was shown too. I don't know, how YT algoritms work, but all seasons of LEXX in russian are available here on RUclips. My favorite are the queen of Klaagia and 3rd season.

Great show. I’m 41 now and I got to stream it the other week. It’s right up there with Babylon 5, Farscape. This was the pilot and on showtime so there was some nudity, which was great for me when I was a teenager. Lol.
I'd LOVE to see Darren Aronofski AND Guillermo DelToro team up and do a remake/update of Lexx as an epic trilogy of movies they could really do a remake that improves upon the original and refine the storyline into something *amazing* IMO
Lexx is so underrated, and it is sad they ran out of money after season 3. It was the ultimate mindfuck low budget Sci-Fi that the world needs more of.
loved it. a brilliant hotchpotch of sheer greatness and even sheerer cheesiness. made other SciFi of the time look like the formulaic crap it mostly was. hope they're never tempted to re-do an airbrushed hollywood version above all i always got the impression that the creators were HAVING FUN. i've only ever had this sensation from one other program that i can remember: Z Nation thanks for the memories, crew ;o)

I'm still bummed out that the last episode didn't have them time travel back to the beginning of the bug war and have lexx build a whole ton of those stinger ships.

That's a great catch, I have watched the pilot at least five times and never noticed that.

I wonder how much this show was influenced by Warhammer 40k, and how much 40k was later influenced by Lexx. It certainly fits the grim dark genre.
