- In the beginning of this video i cover some basic steps to help you find your own gemstones, then we head into a new location to chase some beautiful sapphires and other cool stones.
normally i would be chasing gold but lately iv discovered sapphires can fetch up to $1000 per Ct once cut into a beautiful bespoke gem ready for sale, Now that ive learnt the art of faceting gemstones and armed with my passion for prospecting iv already made quite a few extra dollars for my efforts already.
There is so much more money to be made in gemstones then there is in gold and that is all i need to know to start prospecting those was layers hiding those big sapphire gemstones.

Iv got no clue who you are behind your username mate but I appreciate you for not posting the creek names in the comments.
I’ve noticed that you seem familiar with the areas from previous comments you have posted which has captured my attention and curiosity to know if you live locally? If so contact me privately and we will have to wet a line or a pan somewhere sometime.
You will need to reach out to me via email or messenger if you want to contact me directly because once I post this reply I won’t see any replies from you due to my security settings on my accounts.
I’ll keep my eyes peeled for your contact mate. Stay awesome buddy

Awesome stuff, mate. I appreciate the advice and videos that aren't just about gold.
Can't wait to visit a gemstone area soon.
Hiya Shawn, awesome video and beautiful stones.
Very interesting vid Sean , i never think much about the gem stones when i'm out mining in a creek or river , although i did find a Sapphire once , some Garnets , and what i thought was a Diamond , which really isn't one , lol , but perhaps i need to pay more attention to the gem stone side of things . I do keep a casual eye out for interesting coloured rocks . Nice work Bud , cheers Ned .👍✌
Hey mate, hope you and the family are doing well 🤠.
I haven’t had much time lately to watch videos due to work but I’ll have to do some binge watching on your channel mate.
Yeah I’m getting right into the gem game and have even found some beautiful Ruby’s along with sapphires, I’ve been cutting my own stones and increasing there value significantly.
Knowing you mate, you would enjoy gem faceting greatly 🤠
@@BustedknucklesProspecting Gem hunting sounds like a great hobby , cutting the stones would be very interesting , and possibly make a few bucks on the cut gems as well . Good one mate . 👍 Definitely something i might have to look into in the future . Cheers Brother , keep at it 👌👍✌

Based on your experience, I have a question regarding classification. Would it be better to classify 3-5mm, 5-7mm and 7-9mm instead? Your sieves are probably 3-6mm and 6+mm right?
Yeah something like that
Why are you talking like a robot bro
Because I’m a machine 🤠
