16K usd... Right now you can buy a new 2023 1290 Super Duke Evo for the SAME price as the 990. After the 1390 gets announced and winter hits the 1290 will be significantly cheaper than the 990 non-R. The pricing is absolute madness.
After looking at numerpous videos and viewing pictures.....at first I was like nahhhh, give me the old Duke headlight assembly but the more I zsee it the more I like the new one. My only beef is I think, it could be a bugger to clean, especially during the Spring, summer and fall months. We get a period every October in South/Central Texas wehere are there litterally millions of these brown and orange small butterflies in the air. It'll be real work to clean them out of that light asembly
My eyes! I think they missed off the headlight cover on the promo bike? I can’t unsee it now. I’m happy to see KTM’s commitment to never produce a good looking bike is undimmed.
It's NOT a middleweight, it's a litre bike, even KTM in their release burb described it as a "near litre bike" and the price reflects this as it's over 2 grand more than the 890R.
It's an odd looking headlight. I feel like the proportions are off. It's so big with such a small headlight in the middle. It could've been more compact maybe?
Really don't think Triumph are going to loose any sleep over this bike. Ugly as sin and ooo look, it's available in orange.... And when will they stop this annoying thing where they give you something good for a short while, and then expect you to pay extra to keep it? It's a guaranteed way to p**s off your customers.

I must say that slagging off Americans is almost as easy as peeling a pommy and squeezing on a tea bagger. All in fun and no offense taken. I've had my share of Brit bikes, back in the oily days, and would like to ride a Triumph triple but am stuck with used Japanese bikes, considering my budget and aversion to paying exorbitant prices for spares. Thanks for the overview.
What baffles me is some blokes designed that looked at it and gone wow then the rest of the folk have also looked at it and gone wow that’s perfect whilst having the worst front end in motorcycle history it’s the fiat multipla of the bike world
When I’ve seen that headlights in the spy shots I thought it was due to the prototype being incomplete 😳

Nah it’s a middleweight in terms of power though.
