Seems like a very generic poll. With them sending this they are already assuming that people that enter this site are creators and not readers.
OF COURSE they're not going to serialize you. Even Japanese mangaka usually win several contests and publish several one-shots before serialization is even a possibility. They're not going to serialize you after one of your works wins a gold. if you look at where no/name was published in Jump+, most of the manga there are just one shots that were never made into a series. If something gets popular enough on Jump+, they might consider giving that creator another chance, or maybe an editor. Serialization usually takes months to YEARS after debuting in a magazine.
Do more research when you get first in jumprookie you get the rights to serialize your work. Stop saying things to sound smart
the serialization ranking on jump rookie is an ENTIRELY different thing than 99% of japanese manga contests. its for indie creators, you dont even get to work with an editor even if you win it. maybe you do more research first lol@@dark_nightwing_xl2797

I think if they genuinely feel interested in your work they need to understand cultural differences between people in Japan and the states… unless they act as a benefactor while you draw the manga it’s impossible to maintain a Japanese schedule.
The Japanese are even putting out shorter series to not have to dedicate their ENTIRE life to 1 series. That’s insane.

@@dark_nightwing_xl2797 Mangadex one of the top ones for sure, not only will they get colored stuff, they´ll also get multiple translations on diff languages really fast, on top of having all Volume covers uploaded on top, it´s crazy how pirates sailing the high seas are delivering more than a dungeon

Possibly, I remember that the Radiant manga was in a manga store when some producer looked at it and loved it. Makes me wonder if self-publishing while being translated in Japanese would get you somewhere..
The joke about the Bakuman dream is... You need a Good ass editor to make it, the series hammered it time and time again that good editors got the mangakas serialized and anime´d while trash editors only got mangakas serialized for like a few chaps before going bust or not even serialized at all.
Now imagine the quality of japanese editors nowadays, they straight up told Tabata and Horikoshi to can their originals and work on Naruclones, this was 8 years ago back when naruto manga first finished and SJ needed replacements for it, now they dont care, the editors will just tell you to be "gory" like Kagurabachi or Chainsawman to get serialized, so now the bar is much different and you can kiss goodbye on that Bakuman dream case the moment you stop making Gore on a SJ magazine your series is dropping bad boi!
@@WoahMan1917 You need to be committed and have a good posting schedule, Murata saw what ONE was doing with OPM knew he had talent as a writter to match his own drawing prowess (which is likely the only reason why he approached in the firstplace (AKA the writters he had or could´ve been working with, didnt have One´s potential and were still in that "Naruclone" mindset phase)).
This really goes to show you aint becoming successful on just drawing art or writting alone you need both, or at least a well enough balance to make it work.

@@dark_nightwing_xl2797 I saw one, he´s called Robert Kirkman, he stayed away from the dungeon conned some of his partners (self-made success my ass) and had to wait + than a decade to get anywhere when in Japan under serialization he could´ve had Invincible adapted super duper earlier (1-3 years) into anime.
Lets call it what it´s folks, it aint Fair to make manga here in the west we have 0 establishment, as a result we likely have to wait 3-5x if not 10x more if we compare specific stuff like Invincible to MHA´s Anime season adaptation time.

Things are definitely changing. Kagurabachi isn’t as popular in Japan as it is in the states. If Japan controls what gets to stay around then series that do actually get popular here will just die because the Japanese are quick to cancel series that don’t show popularity in Japan.
Not entirely sure if they care what we like or not? How much control do we actually have over what gets cancelled even if it does get popular here. Japan and america just have different cultural taste.

You can see how much they care about what we like here in the west by the treatment of Tite Kubo´s Bleach, out of all Big 3 (Naruto, One Piece, Bleach), Bleach was treated subpar, with a anime that had to wait for renewal for a very long while and a very rushed ending to the manga, that ended before reaching 700 chaps like Naruto and way less that One Piece, but you know what? At least it wasnt overmilked, for that, I kinda thank the japanese, seeing how they treat naruto, One Piece and Dragonball nowadays makes me wonder if their love for it is started to get twisted by nostalgia.

@@zachberry4742 They really blew it with the tournament of Power for me, I remember the outrage over Ultra Instinct Roshi (manga only) and people cringing about how silly it was, like with a power up like that he could´ve just slaughtered the saiyans, Frieza, Cell and Buu on his own, that was a pure canon break moment in the manga, honestly it never really came backv to me after that.
But what made me drop the super manga, was that despite the early full color support, the moro arc was atrocious like tien and Yamcha couldnt do squat there, they couldnt even get 1 good fight after decades of waiting, heck it wasnt even hard they could´ve just come up with fusion and do some stuff, but nope Goku came again and stole even their own fight, i was so done with Super after that, never looked back, into the manga but from time to time I see the Granolah arc anger here on youtube LMAOing myself, why people keep reading it is beyond me, it´ll never get better in story or characters, it´s just another "Force Awakens" at this point, they managed to avoid the "Last Jedi" deconstructionism but oh boi they close to it.
JJK is successful because series like Psyren and HxH are done, so it has no competition for best power system of the 20s, Demon slayer was sold on aesthetics, I admit seeing the colored manga version is a treat to the eyes, but I agree with Koffee early volumes werent up to par on artstyle.
