Just the amount of money he made for his role in Fight Club alone would make up for him being in flops for all his other roles tbh.
I agree with him about American history x, I can't see over 30 minutes cut from that movie. Should have won best picture
Ramsay Bolton- Thogh I have Amarican History on as second best, I still think his role in that first movie as him being a psycho altar boy, Is his absolutely best role EVER! I SOOOO bought that. I sat with my jaws on my knees at the end, there ; )
Norton just needs to direct all his own movies, so his talent is not wasted. He's just that good!
Yeah good luck with that, Norton is a virus
Hello
It sounds like his rewrites and changes were better and the director's and writers guild felt threatened by him. So many crap movies have been coming out and I miss seeing him movies.
Apparently nobody told him to go make his own movies until marvel.
he made his own movie 7 years before doing the Hulk.
Norton, for all his over zealous efforts, is a national treasure.
He's committed to his craft and vision. He aims to be among the stars.
I agree 👍
He aims to become a new Galaxy 😁
Norton is a genius and brilliant actor. He may have “quirks” but most supreme intellectuals do. He proved he is better than most all Hollywood idiots time after time. Now no one will hire him. He doesn’t fit the mold. Huge fan of yours Mr. Norton, keep being you.
He is an exceptional Actor! Big fan!
Freaking adore Ed. If he's in it, I'll watch it. He's rarely made me regret this approach.
Why this man never won an Oscar?
Right!

@Fly by night Couldn't agree more!
@Joe Me 😂stop!😂
because he sucks
I think Norton is a genius. That about covers it. I miss him in my movies.
He’s one of the best actors in a current lame industry that is riddled with sci fi and less reality of true life..
Wake up, go out, talk to people, watch the news, live your life. There you go, reality and true life every day.
Jeff Jeff lol i don’t know anyone who knows any Norton movies lmao
@@jleonn8651 Then you clearly need to exit your cave and look his movies up. Dude is beyond phenomenal.
Jonathan
According to whom? Who considers him to be a world class actor?
@@jleonn8651 You're right, its really funny that you and your social environment are too dumb and narrowminded to watch a movie that provokes reflection about yourself and society. Pls tell me ur favourite movies. I want to laugh more.
He's an infinitely better actor than the vast majority of Hollywood, Bollywood or any other place. He has several movies that are classic performances and all time greats.
He seems like the smartest and nicest person ever. And anything he’s in is good. He’s doing fine.
Years of brilliant performances tell me Norton doesn’t settle for second best, and his cut of American History X is iconic. Easily one of my favourite ever actors.
I like Norton’s movies. That’s all that matters from a moviegoer’s perspective. I don’t have to work with him.
I’d rather watch a movie I enjoy than one I don’t but in which everyone got along great.
edward norton is smarter than most actors and directors of his peers out there. would love to work with him.
Literally, a bit.
Greatness expects greatness. He is truely one of the greatest actors of all time
"Hollywood" just doesn't have the vision that Norton has. It all happens for the best as Norton can put all his talent to work now! Much to the dismay of "Hollywood"...Rock on Ed!!!
He is a great actor. I agree he should make his own movies.
"If you want to make enemies try to change something"
He’s one of my fave actors!! All this information tells me it’s that he’s serious about his art.
It looks like Edward Norton cares more about art than business. That is a great quality. Many people in the entertainment industry struggle to deal with people like that because the business-first people are 100% about the money.
Norton's Hulk was the damn best, love this actor, marvel didn't want Norton's Hulk stealing the show
Lol. WHY WOULDN'T MARVEL WANT THEIR OWN CHARACTER TO STAND OUT?
When I saw Primal Fear” I was truly mesmerized. I knew I was watching the greatest actor I had ever seen. Do your own things Edward Norton. You are a genius!!
I was thinking throughout the video that he should make his own movies! Good decision, I love him
Edwards is an extraordinary actor. Perhaps he’s like the Steve Jobs of theatre. That version of Incredible Hulk got me totally interested in Edwards. I totally loved him in Birdman, incredible performance. Yes I believe he has the capacity for becoming a great director.
I think Edward is one of the best actors alive. I will watch whatever he is in.
Amazing actor - and now knowing that he writes and 'fixes' scripts he's shown to be even better :)
Edward Norton is an acting god
I love him in everything he's ever done
Not only should he have won the Oscar for American History X without doubt one of the most memorable performance in film
The guy should just be a director.
Brandon Condon
It’s as simple as that.
But he seem to usually right so. Ha
I don't trust a creative guy who is trying to be agreeable.
I Love noton.i think he is so intelligent, great actor ,I really don't think he cares what others say.i think he is becoming the new GREAT director, screen writer and much more.
I really liked motherless Brooklyn but it seem’s like none of the critics did. He’s one of my favorite actors.
will be always respected for starring in the legendary Fight Club.
The final scene in Primal Fear. Chilling! And all down to close-up acting.
That’s pretty interesting since he’s a frequent collaborator with Wes Anderson. And Wes’ movies have such a distinctive style. I wonder if Edward has sat in any of those
He should just make his own movies he obviously has the talent for it.
Wes Anderson doesn’t seem to have a problem with Ed.
Wes Andersen isn't good. Motherless Brooklyn was an abortion.
Because they’re both perfectionists.
Sounds like Norton is doing fine. The tone of this review isn't really justified by the facts presented.
Edward Norton is one of the best actors of the last 50 years, easily. I could see where he might be a bit of a pain to work with, but a lot of the best in the business seem to have a bit of that reputation. I hope he does make movies on his own terms. There's plenty of crappy movies being constantly pumped out of Hollywood, so I'm all for someone with some standards to give us something else.
Edward Norton is terrific in so many ways. It's too bad we don't see him anymore. Hope this changes soon. NOW!
His performance in The Score with Deniro is one of my absolute favorites still worth watching today
his ability to play to totally different characters is unmatched.
American History X
Primal Fear
The Score
the first time watching Red Dragon as a kid... I fell in love with his character. Fearless, brilliant, sexy. The slightest lisp that soothes. Oh Edward. You are so fine.
When you are super talented it is clear that some Hollywood Power Players are afraid of being outshined. Edward Norton is a super actor and I will watch his movies every chance I get. Best wishes Edward Norton.
All you have really pointed out is that he really cares about his craft and wants the movie to be the best it can. I have enjoyed all Nortons movies and the ones you mentioned seemed to have benefited from his input.
Norton is a great actor....nobody can take that from him.
the best actors are the ones which defy what is on the paper and handed to them but can improvise and can sense what the viewers may want to see beyond the script. Norton is the new Brando and master class actor
Edward Norton is my celebrity crush it appears he’s also a difficult perfectionist. Love his work .
Sister Grace ok karen
motherless brooklyn was fantastic and one of my favorite films he's acted in
He is one of the best actors of this century. Of course he plays up, he’s a genius. My favorite . Love you Edward. Don’t get in line with the sheep. ❤️
I still like him, he stays away from all the drama you hear about in Hollywood!
He drew his inspirations from people like Al, De Niro, Sir Ian, etc. That's some solid ground for perfection. No wonder Norton is so perfect in what he does and delivers.
i remember i watched the incredible hulk back in 2008. i was a child back then and couldn't remember what was my impression of the movie. i knew edward norton because of his role as king baldwin iv in kingdom of heaven, which i just watched recently, and damn, he was mesmerizing as the leper king. you don't often see actors succeeding in conveying emotions behind a mask, but edward norton pulled it off effortlessly. i just wish he gets more recognized with this role.
you know what edward norton and baldwin iv share in common? they're both kings.
An actor who understands a character and works hard to depict properly, no wonder current Hollywood rejected him
The fact that he edited a movie scripts he starred and yet got them great speaks for itself
Why did he get blacklisted? Authenticity, pride and principles. . . That's why.

Edward Norton is a fabulous actor, I would watch anything he is in. If he wants to change things or has something to say, LISTEN because you might learn something!!!!!
He just sounds like a real creative. And that people are envious of his talent, and made insecure by their subpar acting, writing, directing skills. But yes, he is probably difficult to work with. But he doesn't sound abusive or toxic.
Whatever! I love watching the brilliant Edward Norton on the big screen! He sounds like a perfectionist and that’s how the best is made.
No love for ROUNDERS? It's one of his best movies.
Hell yeah.... He played "the ass hole friend" part to the point in the movie....loved Malkovich as teddy KGB too.... "pey thait man hiis maaniy".
