Thanks for always doing these superb explanation videos. I have already watched dozens of videos regarding the B777, but you really explain it the best !!! You should consider becoming a flight instructor !!!
Thank you very much! Indeed I will probably go down the ways of becoming an instructor. However probably primarily as Line Training Captain so that I don't have to spend too much time in the sim, but can stay in the air!

You seem extremely knowledgable and familiar with the 777, has this come from learning from real 777 pilots as part of the 777's development, a combination of what you experience in your own long haul jet, what you picked up over the years, or a combination of all of this?
Thank you very much. I'd say it's a mix of both. I spent a lot of time with 777 pilots during the beta and afterwards and of course I read the flight manuals. And I had to dig into the systems during the course of the beta to do correct reports. All of that probably comes together now.
Emmanuel, in your videos you mention your 777 e-book, but I never see any information in the description as you suggest. Did you forget to include it, or am I just blind? 🙂

Man I follow this but soon as I move to flaps 30, the speed tape becomes red. All speeds become red. And yes, flaps 30 config in thr FMC is selected. I cant get my head around this. I end up landing with Flas 20 every time....
I think it is one of the two best aircraft for the sim. To avoid a discussion, I will not make a statement if the other one is better or not, I'll just leave it as "it's one of the two best ones".
777 is an amazing product, flying this with pleasure, but the price is quite steep. And for the freighter and other modifications you have to pay probably the same price again. Fenix definitely has a better pricing policy.
I follow must part of yours tutorials and i have learned a lot. Thanks for the good work On my last flight learning about the plane and approaching Madrid (LEMD) the speed was 250 kts , but the ATC ask for i reduce to 220. Try everything but i couldn't . Is there a way to reduce the speed ?
9:59 yes. It's called speed intervent . Just right click on the button below the IAS indicator on the MCP and then select the target speed. The auto throttle will now try to adjust the speed to your selected spd.
Appreciate these vids. Would be great if you could also show proper hand flying using the fbw in various scenarios (alt/speed change with/without at). Also, assuming you are using the Boeing tca yoke, how many springs feels correct and applying response curves?

@@A330Driver hello Manu, clicked on your link but don’t really know about your tickets. Just tryna know with the community if I am the only one to experience a total freeze just prior the touchdown, it happened 3 times over 5 flights I did so far. Really annoying.
The 777 just got enormous engines, it really needs that little thrust. The 737 on the other hands side needs much more. Both are realistic, though I can definitely understand how it feels weird that you need a higher percentage of thrust in the 737 than in the 777. But that's how those two aircraft are: Both Boeings, yet completly different.

I just don’t like how it behaves on the ground. It feels very light like a paper plane. The 737 feels much heavier which doesnt make sense

What are you using? This feels heavy and the 737 feels light. I'm using logitech rudder pedals. I enjoy taxiing with this more than the A320 and 737
