- This is a montage of the Taiko Audio SGM Extreme Music Server showing a finished batch in the factory interwoven with images of the server used in shows and home installations.
Full disclosure: December 1st, 2021 marks the start of my employment with Taiko Audio. In this capacity, I will take care of the company’s website content and general online presence. Naturally, and as always, my opinions as expressed in reviews or videos will be my own, but to avoid conflict of interest, I will not be reviewing any Taiko Audio gear. Видеоклипы
Congratulation to your new job Christiaan! Could we see Antipodes vs. Taiko vs Grimm comparison/showdown?
Thanks, Tami! Since I am now also working for Taiko Audio, it's better not to review their products, conflict of interest and all... But maybe I can make some general observations at some point. It remains to be seen.
Hi, After watching your video about MU1 and K50. I am planning to buy a MU1 which is more close to my preference of sound signature. However, I would like to know your thought about the difference between MU1 and taiko extreme. What is extreme’s sound signature? Does it surpass by MU1 a lot? After all, it is twice as expensive as MU1. Thanks for your help🙏🙏
The Taiko Extreme is arguably closer to the Antipodes K50's "full-blooded" character than the Grimm MU1's cleaner and leaner "as is" presentation, but it really combines the best aspects of them. It sounds organic, full-bodied, and richly saturated, yet refined, high-res, nimble, expressive, and dynamic.
That sounds really tempting!
Thanks for your reply
Heh we are milling those cases in company where i work. :D
Nice! Keep up the good work:-)
Is the milling cost per case like $5k?
What amps are those at 30 seconds?
Good question! I wish I could tell you, but alas, I don't know. If/when I find out, I will add it here.

Ah yes, indeed! I thought they looked familiar but I just couldn't put my finger on it. Thanks for confirming, it has really been bugging me!
A box with beefy power supply, wow!!
That alone would not be very impressive indeed. But there's quite a bit more to the SGM Extreme than that. See the website for a quick rundown of the features but note that this page covers merely the surface of the labor that went into making this machine. taikoaudio.com/taiko-2020/sgm-extreme-music-server/
its a Trash Server Pc. Man its nowhere near worth its price tag. You can just build your own a fraction of the price. Its just made to rip off people who know 0% of pc components. Its 99% marketing BS.
@@LegendarySkypenisthen i suggest you build some yourself, imagine the money you can make while making an equal product for only 1% of the price!
@@Like_Whut you were not listening, it's just a server pc there is already a market for it. This product is a rip off, people just don't understand the bull shit marketing language, or they simply do not understand pc hardware. Anyone can build their own computer takes like an hour of your time.
@@LegendarySkypenis i see what you mean now, i understood it wrong the first time. But it still doesn't hold up, i don't discuss with people about prices because i understand why you would think that this is too high of a price for a music server, but others are willing to pay it so in the end it's all about personal taste.
However, i 100% believe that whatever PC you would build to play music from, will never, ever sound as good as the Taiko.
My guess is that you have never heard a true high end music server next to a regular PC, or even a good music PC/server. And you just like to hate on things that cost a lot of money.
