I'm currently working on a legacy format deck list for Beseech the Mirror. It'll be a storm deck based around playing some free spells then chaining Mirror into Mirror into Mirror into Mirror into Tendrils of Agony lol.

My prerelease-event went something like this (+ some set boosters): Moonshaker Cavalry, Agatha's Soul Cauldron, Virtue of Strength, Rhystic Study, Grave Pact, Specter of Mortality + even more awesome stuff! This set man! The pack-cracking gods smiled big at me yesterday, which means that today is commander-deck tuning day!

I pulled the enchanted tales grave pact, virtue of persistence, and as of this comment I also pulled an Agatha's soul cauldron on pre-release night that is now up to $40 from $15 when I pulled it. Which is now more expensive than beseech the mirror. Lol

I still dont get why Ashiok is so expensive(price wise). Unless im missing something it takes a lot of setup to even get Ashiok working. Theres no way to protect it unless you already have a couple creatures out. Otherwise you have to -2 which will set you back from using the -7.

It's a combination of this Ashiok being able to defend itself the turn you play it and their passive effect to choose whether you want to pay life or exile mill your library when using cards/effects that cost life. The rest is just gravy.

I got two beseech the mirror cards from booster pack,😅 sexyyy
