I absolutely love World Tour and it trained me enough that SF6 has become the first fighting game I've really gotten into. But I can understand if players who are already very good at the game find all the NPC battles too easy and boring. For me it was a great learning curve and even the easiest fights could be nice punching bags for trying different moves. And World Tour just felt like it was made for me because (for a long time now) I've wanted a singleplayer RPG-style game with martial arts combat like a fighting game. And here comes World Tour with just that! And even though I mostly enjoy games about violent action, I really liked how the vibe of the game was very wholesome and about friendly competition instead of killing people.
@labdG I wholeheartedly agree. Everyone complains about every competitive online game ever. No one wants to admit their opponent is just better than them. Dunkey said it best long ago, "it's the games fault, not mine". SF6 is the best fighting game IMO, with third strike being right there neck and neck with it.
I know complaints are inevitable, but I feel like if ppl just move around and play out of their comfort zone they’ll have more fun. I started a series getting all characters to plat kinda like road to master that nephew did and I’m appreciating the game and the characters a lot more. Where I used to complain now I just work around. I still have fair critiques but I feel like I still really love the game.
Loving SF6's trend of fun to watch upsets, and characters getting by with dedicated players; willing to put in the work to get them to win a tournament.
In regards to the "honeymoon period", very fighting game generally has a period where people will find something to complain about. You kind of have to look at what people are complaining about and if those complaints have any real merit. For example, the people complaining about Drive Rush and Drive Parry should instead be complaining about Capcom's shitty monetization practices, of which SF6 is probably the most egregious they're being so far with how terrible the fight pass is and how much they're charging for avatar outfits and DLC characters
THIS. It's so annoying feeling like one of the few people to keep pointing this out. Drive Ticket economy is terrible, money and ticket prices for cosmetics are terrible. The game conditioned you to dye outfits throughout the entire single-player mode, yet _you have to pay $8 for ONLY 1 OF 3 COLORS_ of an avatar cosmetic. They seriously need to make some changes here. I went in intending to support because SF6 is excellent, but the offensive monetization turned me off from spending on anything but the re-earnable premium pass. Solutions to fix DLC: - EVERY character immediately gets outfit 3 - More outfits on the way, including discounted holiday ones - Halve the price of every Avatar cosmetic - Add an earnable dye system for Hub shop cosmetics - After Tier 30 in the Premium Pass, you unlock infinite tiers that net you a few Drive Tickets to reward dedicated players - Each month's Premium Pass contains a (1) item cosmetic voucher to get whatever you want from the Hub shop - New stages, including holiday ones that are free and time-limited, and paid ones that are unique - New stage music
I think having something like World Tour and Battle Hub is super important. As much as i like grinding matches it is a nice break to have in between and observe some freak fights. Mortal Kombat 1 would be a bit better in my eyes if there was a more social mode.
World tour an avatar battles are underrated an slept on. Thse fighting games like you said are all good it seems like theonly negative is fgc complaining out of no where or for no reason other than salt. Enjoying all of these games
Gotta hand it to Gachikun. He stuck with Rashid even after 5 and even when he didn't seem viable for everyone else in 6. Love to see more of these players getting wins on characters not common in the top tier.

He was ready for the DI because before both were burn out the Luke try to do it so Gachikun had that in mind after. Wong had a chance after the 1st 3 games but its hard to make the comeback in ST6 and i think the pressure got him after losing the 1st game and Gachikun started doing more mixs.

Meta has nothing on Skill, absolutely nothing if a guy can win a tekken world tournament with Panda, then you can win any game with any character against anyone, if you got the skills to cook.
Inspiring message, but ultimately inaccurate if the game is broken enough. Game design/balance is always a factor. If you wanna try making Kyosuke work in CvS2 or Zangief work in MvC 2, though, be my guest. I’ll be laughing quite bit as you consistently fail to make it out of pools.
It’s funny to hear about how good the big 3 are right now (which they totally are) when I’ve gone back and started playing xrd again for no good reason besides just wanting to
Xrd is just one of those games that you can always go back to and have fun. It’s such a wacky game with so many cool characters and I think one of the reasons it’s so fun to return to is because it’s so different than the current GG we have now with strive you know? Xrd is a totally different flavor than strive so to speak and that’s not me dunking on strive I like that game too. I’m glad it was successful GG is slowly getting exposed more and more to the mainstream gaming community

While Gachikun played really solid and deserved to win the CPT, i'm just baffled with pros or anyone who claim Rashid as "weak" and not viable for tourney. I've been saying no way in fkin hell Rashid is weak because he's at least A+ tier from day 1. The guy can do a lot more compare to his SF V version. His corner carry is nasty and one of the best in the game along with Ken, JP and DJ. His setup / mixed up play also really nasty, especially if he throws Super 2 and you in burnout. Just like in SF V, Rashid plays a different game compare to other characters..well except JP.
I don't get the surprise? Not like he's Zangief, Menat, T Hawk sister or any of those chronically nerfed characters with no anti airs, projectiles, slow walk, short drive rush...
I mean... We are talking about Gachikun..... Like... Bro of course. I'll die without seeing the day were people just credit the character more than the person behind the character.. so sad
is this a surprise? Dude was brimming with that DLC privilege and he isn't based around a gimmick that requires you do go long stretches of time without being jabbed once
4:49 sorry max but this game's balance is a godsend compared to third strike's Third strike's fundamental balance issue is both having decently privileged top tiers sharing a roster with the poorest low and mid tires I have ever seen, like to this day I don't comprehend why Q has barely any cancelable normals lmfao
Thing about sf6 is that it doesn't look like button mashing anymore, every string is different and even if you get recked in one game you can actually come on top still. THAT's a skill based game, even with the bad complains about parry and drive rush, every character got it, so there's no damn reason to complain. Think that's op? Use it. prove it is.
Um, they DO use it. A lot. Everyone abuses Drive Rush and drive parry in the game at almost all levels of play, which is why the complaints have become so prevalent so fast. And universal mechanics aren’t automatically balanced, otherwise Sean and Chun-Li would be on equal footing in Third Strike considering how much stronger parry is in that game. Strong universal mechanics have historically worked to define the meta through enabling characters who are better at abusing and/or counteracting them than the rest of the cast. Kind of tired of corny armchair developers looking for any which way to undersell the impact of mechanical imbalances to protect a game they like from legitimate criticism. Like, SF6 is objectively a really solid game and one of the best launches compared to most fighting games literally ever so I don’t get this desperation from people to stake their entire souls on defending it from the few easily addressable problems it has. Remove the ability to block during the drive parry’s whiff recovery, fix the input reader, fix drive rush’s tendency to eat inputs and maybe increase the cost by a half a bar to a bar, and you’ve addressed literally everything complaint that isn’t “wahh my character isn’t triple S tier with full screen unblockable setups” levels of bad lol. A single talented developer could accomplish most of this in a week and it wouldn’t drastically change the game any.

Everyone complains about every competitive online game ever. No one wants to admit their opponent is just better than them. Dunkey said it best long ago, "it's the games fault, not mine". SF6 is the best fighting game IMO, with third strike being right there neck and neck with it.
Love hearing your candid commentary over such a hype grand finals! 🤘🦖
I actually do wanna see Max play World Tour.
The fact that all the characters have crazy options with drive makes those “Scrambley” moment so fun to watch
Solutions to fix DLC:
- EVERY character immediately gets outfit 3
- More outfits on the way, including discounted holiday ones
- Halve the price of every Avatar cosmetic
- Add an earnable dye system for Hub shop cosmetics
- After Tier 30 in the Premium Pass, you unlock infinite tiers that net you a few Drive Tickets to reward dedicated players
- Each month's Premium Pass contains a (1) item cosmetic voucher to get whatever you want from the Hub shop
- New stages, including holiday ones that are free and time-limited, and paid ones that are unique
- New stage music
Max skipped over Lily getting her shine :(. Hibiki is a monster and inspiration Lily DOES have sauce.
I miss Street Fighter 6 as well Max. I'm waiting for my boy Ed to come out to hop back on!
Me too. I'm excited to see how Ed gonna play in SF 6.
So is that "the dude". That one dude who mastered Rashid whose possible appearance was envisaged some time ago.
I think having something like World Tour and Battle Hub is super important. As much as i like grinding matches it is a nice break to have in between and observe some freak fights. Mortal Kombat 1 would be a bit better in my eyes if there was a more social mode.
Wow that Grand Final was epic, so happy I watched it here. SF6 is the best fishing game ever, too excited about the future of this game.
Yeah this was an offline cpt event that qualifies you directly to capcom cup x.
Rashid is one of most fun and best balanced characters in an already wonderfully balanced game
9:48 Well tbh that's more a Luke thing than Rashid's antiair, he can kick through most DPs or normals for some reason.
After Year 2 of SF6, it will be Max's favorite fighting game ever, promise. All it needs is more characters and tweaks and it'll over take 3rdS ez in the long run
Balance wise, it's the best but I feel 3 has itched it's place in people's heart, no beating that connection
@@doctordice2doctordice210 If nothing else. It'll become a whole new generation's 3rdS
Legit, any character in the right hands can take tournaments. Even low-tier trash is terrifying in SF6
And we know you're saving the World Tour playthrough when there's a lull Max, why burn all that content in June? 😂
Being "low tier trash" in sf6 just means being a mid tier, but the street fighter community won't except this truth 😌
I don't think SF6 is in a weird state at all.
Game is great and everybody is playing it. Its the best state a fighting game EVER had.
its not in a weird state, its just a small lull because its been out for 4 months now and the next “update” is next year with ed
@@gntyhyah but next year is two months away at the very least it gives people time to play this state of the game the only real problem is that the next DLC just isn't exciting. Like who gives a shit about Ed.
@@addex1236 I do gives a shit about Ed because he's my main in SF V and with him i won a couple of online tourney. I'm pretty excited to see how Ed gonna play in SF 6.
@@addex1236 i give a shit about ed. thats my boy
I’d swap adjectives between SF6 and MK1 personally and I’m a 3rd Strike/ Tekken player primarily.
They really should add a Memphis stage and Luke is just chillin in the back of the stage.
5:40 preach max
Just waiting on the inevitable"sfV was actually brilliant" videos smh
I honestly wish more characters were on the power level of Rashid
The only real complaint i have besides basic stuff like balancing, is the lack of costumes tbh. The release for em is too slow and likely woild be too predatory
He was ready for the DI because before both were burn out the Luke try to do it so Gachikun had that in mind after. Wong had a chance after the 1st 3 games but its hard to make the comeback in ST6 and i think the pressure got him after losing the 1st game and Gachikun started doing more mixs.
that luke level 2 antiair was sick
Love Rashid. One of my favorite scrimblos
5:02 thats actually his optimal meterless punish excluding a jump-in
Pros complaining about a lack of "control" when the same thirty players consistently end up in the top ten spots is... Something.
Brain dead comment when casuals complain too. Y’all just love to complain in general like your comment for example.
@@SoulInajarpros absolutely complain the most, scrub quoting about how the character or mechanic that beated their ass is """broken""" jumping from cope narrative to cope narrative as their ego see fit
Like the fact that some of them started complaining about Rashid is just the best example of this
@@doctordice2doctordice210 never said pros don’t cry so idk what you in about
18:40 max is wrong here; you can block during the recovery frames of exiting parry. however, you cannot throw tech or perform any other actions during these frames.
nice to see a rashid user do so well!
Go ahead and make a return to SF6, until MK1 gets its stuff together
Zangief, ryu, and blanka have destroyed everyone’s expectations
As a Rashid main I’m happy about This! 🤩
I think this might show Max that Rashid is more viable than he keeps saying.
Street Fighter 6 is easily my favourite fighting game. I felt so let down by MK1 and it sucked because MK got me into fighting games, played T8 Network test and Beta, seems like thats gonna be my favourite Tekken at least
I’d love to see your Ryu in action 👍🏻
Meta has nothing on Skill, absolutely nothing
if a guy can win a tekken world tournament with Panda, then you can win any game with any character against anyone, if you got the skills to cook.
Try saying that to MVC low tiers like Roll
@@GuyWithAnAmazingHatold school games have awful balance, what's your point lol
@@doctordice2doctordice210oc made no comments about modern vs legacy fighters. They said it as a catch all.
Down medium punch isn't his anti air anymore, literally got to rely on heavy and ex dp
1:06 I cannot be the only goofball who read JP as in the character and HK as in heavy kick
How crazy Gachikun always dominated on SEA region, Gachikun King of SEA
Better Matchmaking and good Costumes please Capcom. 10 for Chun-Li to get started as usual, one that makes Luke look cool would be dope as well.
(Turns hat backwards) it's like a switch.
I've seen a few people bring this up and I'm confused, I thought from the start rashid felt pretty strong and even just a little overtuned at least in my experience, my friends and I play a lot of custom matches when we play fighting games and when you understand your opponent/the matchup rashid is rough to get any ground on with his tools, unless that's just my friend knowing me too well but I was struggling for sure.
Yeah my hours in sf5 are extremely low since day 1.
Casual over here
i figured the original KI was max's favorite fighting game of all-time. i knew 3rd Strike was up there. interesting.
well i guess max is wrong here. because KI is the goat. and he should know that. 😉
I wish Microsoft understood that because since KI 2013 release
We have gotten TWO Street Fighters
THREE Mortal Kombats and an Injustice game
And TWO Tekkens
Meanwhile Microsoft is just giving us an update to a 10 year old game smh
@@Dbreezy229 because microsoft is a scummy, soulless, incompetent, creatively bankrupt, steaming puddle of cat piss company. they have deep pockets, thats it. they have zero interest in quality, innovation or advancing the industry creatively. they just wanna buy it.
I, too, hate beating around the boat 😂.
Nice luke seems like a good character.seeing him in finals alot
Mortal Kombat is looking weaker and weaker with every passing week... Sf6 is how you roll out a game
Day 322 of waiting for *Week of JP*
The Converkts found my hiding place but i left 1 week before they arrived. At the moment i am lost but will get some answers to where exactly im at with this outpost i stumbled apon. I already made quick work with my knife to the lookouts so just need to sneak in an get the commander. Ill wait for nightfall when he is laying his head down before i make my move. I will stay in this small cave until nightfall then i will strike. As of now i see no *Week of JP* in sight so i will continue my mission
-Ghost Folver out-
Man at 9:28, Rashids Anti-Air sucks, and if you look at Gachickun's Face, it explains it all too. haha haha
RAAAASHIIIIDOOOOO
Rashid is quite good, the only thing holding him back is his inconsistent anti-airs.
Man spiderman 2 looks great but idk who to main, I want G back.
Luckily for me, I'm still so new and bad at SF that I can't even complain about it
I know we're here to watch Rashid, but that Luke goes crazy. :V
I will be honest perfect parry is the only thing I do well in the gsme so if they nerf it or maybe remove it I'll probably drop the game, which sucks cause I have 0 internet in tekken 8
I would be very VERY surprise if Jamie wins a mayor at all bc The character is just to hard to learn and also You need to put a Lot of work to Even make it viable
When is my girl Lily gonna get a win gang? 😢
She has been wining, It's a shame Max missed it during the MK launch. Punk and Brian F did videos watching Hibiki cook people.
It’s good when they complain or hate 😂
He was doing level 2 to put him in burnout not so much to mix
I'll die without seeing the day were people just credit the character more than the person behind the character.. so sad
Relax
Weren't pros unironically asking for the 50% scaling on PP to be removed, or at least lowered, a few months ago?
It's almost like being good at playing a video game doesn't magically makes you good at designing one :0
I haven't played against a Rashid for about 2 months and I've only played like 5 of them ever lol. (I'm Plat 5)
RASHID MAINS REJOICE!!!! We got one!!
is this a surprise? Dude was brimming with that DLC privilege and he isn't based around a gimmick that requires you do go long stretches of time without being jabbed once
Just get Ripley to play the single player for you on SF6
Alex for Street fighter 6
Luke painted the fence.
I missed when you played fighting games. You don't grind street fighter, kof, or guilty gear
Mk is not in a good spot right now. Maybe in 3 months though
Am l the only one who hears "command grab" instead of Memphis? Lol
Zangief won a tournament, and people would still be surprised if AKI was winning one ? really ? Who are these people
4:49 sorry max but this game's balance is a godsend compared to third strike's
Third strike's fundamental balance issue is both having decently privileged top tiers sharing a roster with the poorest low and mid tires I have ever seen, like to this day I don't comprehend why Q has barely any cancelable normals lmfao
Alright chill, it's not like Zangief won a tourney.. Oh wait xD
