yeah that's Utah highway patrol for you. state and city are pretty alright. not in Kaysville and Farmington though.. power tripping bastards. most highway patrol I've met run a tight ship, but there's very little accountability and they just let the most stupid shit fly if its not their neck on the line, officer 1 seemed pretty alright, but falls under the same category, saying "you gonna cuff him"? and officer 2 saying no and then him just saying nothing afterward. they aren't corrupt, or stupid, or mean(most cases) they just dont value training that much. absolutely blew my mind when transferring from Nevada, the spatial awareness course is OPTIONAL. and it shows. first clip, officer firing into a full parking lot, where the confrontation shouldn't have even happened, instead just grabbing the plate and finding their address.
pure idiocy. i dont feel safe living in utah knowing in just as much if not more danger from cops than lunatics. and the second clip? that wasn't even his dog, he shot the cab twice when it wasn't even his dog. that would be a nobody in the force is ever talking to you ever again, and everyone is extra sure to be as slow as possible responding to your calls offense in nevada. 2nd cop was more justified firing wildly because the backdrop was bush, but even less in a sense because he KNEW a k9 was in the back. im moving to a swing state as soon as possible. in blue states you get fired for shooting a drunk maniac, and in red states you dont get fired for shooting an elderly woman. pure idiocy.

The cop with the AR could have covered the other cop while that cop advances onto the burm. Then that cop has lower access to the legs and feet or when the guy pops out to shoot.
Insteas, the first cop runs backward under fire on the side where the shooter had best access to him as a target. And then he eventually asks for a shotgun? God I hope hes asking for that because his vehicle doesnt have an AR which it should. Shotgun instead of using an AR at that distance seems like a poor choice.

Take a look at the likes of Brandon Johnson. Campaigns on the police being racist making the election an emotional rather than logical. Since the emotion is the police are racist, that means the system is, meaning you can let the sweet and innocent soon to be Harvard grads commit whatever violent crime they damn near wish. They get arrested. They get released because they were arrested by evil white racists who Brandon Johnson has claimed on several occasions just want to see the black man be slaves again. Because Brandon Johnson got them out and since they were only in there because the white man wanted slaves he wins brownie points for the next reelection cycle.
Welcome to late stage identity politics, where your leaders will call you racist because your mother was shot by a black man while on his way to church, the "oppressed" people that are currently in tbe highest power of the land are given legal and economic freedoms and privileges due to their skin color while others get the exact opposite, and everybody but those voted in has to foot the bill for all the damage done. All that is missing now is reparations payed to non victims and payed by non perpetrators because the ancestors of both parties were guilty, but we only care about the white ones.

If anyone is to blame, it's the Bail-Bond industry, freaking out about losing money from violent criminals while poor people with drug charges & warrants bc they couldn't pay a ticket overfill our jails. But, don't forget their lackeys in the Conservative Media, police, Republican prosecutors, etc. They're equally culpable for lying about how bail works.

yeah that's Utah highway patrol for you. state and city are pretty alright. not in Kaysville and Farmington though.. power tripping bastards. most highway patrol I've met run a tight ship, but there's very little accountability and they just let the most stupid shit fly if its not their neck on the line, officer 1 seemed pretty alright, but falls under the same category, saying "you gonna cuff him"? and officer 2 saying no and then him just saying nothing afterward. they aren't corrupt, or stupid, or mean(most cases) they just dont value training that much. absolutely blew my mind when transferring from Nevada, the spatial awareness course is OPTIONAL. and it shows. first clip, officer firing into a full parking lot, where the confrontation shouldn't have even happened, instead just grabbing the plate and finding their address.
pure idiocy. i dont feel safe living in utah knowing in just as much if not more danger from cops than lunatics. and the second clip? that wasn't even his dog, he shot the cab twice when it wasn't even his dog. that would be a nobody in the force is ever talking to you ever again, and everyone is extra sure to be as slow as possible responding to your calls offense in nevada.

It's so heartbreaking and infuriating when some judges make bad decisions and judgments. They go easy and be lenient with the actual criminals. It's like they are protecting the criminals and not the public or their safety. Some dangerous criminals get handed a life sentence to which they only have to serve half of that. Where a family of a victim gets a life sentence and many receive no justice. How in their right minds can they justify giving bail to dangerous re-affending criminals. It's like they have just given up, and then they wonder why people don't have any faith left in the justice system. They are willing to put the publics lifes in danger by putting them in the same cage as a lion.

pure idiocy. i dont feel safe living in utah knowing in just as much if not more danger from cops than lunatics. and the second clip? that wasn't even his dog, he shot the cab twice when it wasn't even his dog. that would be a nobody in the force is ever talking to you ever again, and everyone is extra sure to be as slow as possible responding to your calls offense in nevada.

@evanyoung7921 what's absolutely wild is that after he grabs the rifle you can see that there's a person in the silver car that he was just shooting towards (about 1:45)

Yes. It was ridiculous. With a parking lot full of innocent people and cars. Absolutely crazy they would fire that many times with such bad aim.

Yeah, there are far too many situations of cops leaving keys in the ignition in their patrol cars. That should be the first procedure they must comply or else they deserve suspension.

honestly both situations. The first one was pretty hard to watch from the start, Unless you have a 100% clear shot and know you will 100% hit the target and will not over penetrate, you should NEVER be shooting towards the doors of a walmart. And honestly, the clip doesnt make it any better. The shot literally starts with the cop tazing the dude before he can even complete "get on the ground right now" And at that point, the only crime he committed was possible counterfitting. Purchasing a ton of ammo isnt a crime nor should it ever be.
like this dude is an obviously bad dude, and like yeah, what happened was going to happen regardless. But imagine having a range day, buying a ton of ammo, in cash because you had a good poker night the last night or whatever, and then immediately get tazed while walking to your car
