The second cop didn’t even flinch when those gun shots went off! Just kept putting gloves on 😂
Its what happens when you work in an area full of crime, plenty of gun shots going off which desensitizes you to it.

Thats the kind of guy you want by your side when bullets start flying. Keeps calm, cool and collected. Panic is the worst possible thing and causes nothing but trouble. This guy has some strong nerves for sure, gun shots are damn loud and can easily make you jump when not expecting it

Kinda sad that guy was okay with going to jail because at least he would have somewhere to sleep.
I was thinking that same thing too.
Having a warm place with a bed, shower and regular food definitely is better than having to sleep inside a sofa in the cold.
Don’t do drugs especially hard stuff.. it’s a choice I’ve been 5 years clean and it probably took me 15 to actually ask for help.. unfortunately they won’t get help until they actually need it for some that never comes

How about the cops investigate a shoplifting warrant after being called for shots fired. Then they don’t even chase the gunman😂 wtf are we paying them for?

They were definitely up to something weird with the car or something. The guy had a Sack Barrow, the woman had a power tool etc. Dumb shenanigans for adults…why can't people just, I dunno - not be weird lol. Stay home or go out to dinner etc like normal people.
Those are more likely the ones who were shooting the people standing in the field

They were stealing stuff off the car obviously, which is why the 1 guy had the hand truck, and I’m sure the guy in red had the tools in his backpack - it’s super great the lady involved her daughter and boyfriend, fantastic family.
I’m sure they’re also all doing drugs, probably heroin, which is why they’re stealing to feed their addiction.

Not funny when think about it
He also asked at one point “can you let me go?” So he probably just said he was good with it because he realized it didn’t matter one way or another how he felt, he was going to jail regardless.
In New Mexico a lot of the homeless will commit small crimes just to be arrested. Very rough living for them there, so the free bed and meals can be nice. Especially in winter months where half the time the alternative is freezing to death.

That second cop was the most unfazed that I have ever seen -- putting on gloves, shots fired, just stands there, you ok dude? proceeds to keep putting on gloves and announces shots fired in the chillest voice ever. haha

That judge needs to be disbarred IMMEDIATELY. Probation for what's basically attempted murder on officers is criminal.
Just not enough evidence to PROVE beyond a reasonable doubt that he tried to murder the officer. Did he shoot into the air? Hence the lesser charges. Judges must make decisions based on the law and evidence.

He must not have felt or heard any bullets whizzing by. He was insanely calm for that scenario. Way more relaxed than I'd have been. Honestly if you hear it you're still alive
When I was stationed at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, someone from back home asked me what it was like there. I said, "Have you ever watched the show COPS? Every other episode is filmed here." Shortly after arriving there, my ex was driving us around at night and she made a safe but illegal lane change and we were pulled over. As the officer approached her window you could hear across his radio, "Shots fired! Shots fired!" and he ran back to his car and took off. We sat there for a minute, then just left. ABQ is literally the wild west.

Nope. But I'm also not super surprised either. IDK why being a criminal apologists has become so popular in the past decade or so. Sure, cops didn't used to be all great guys. Times and procedures have changed and why are we punishing good cops for the actions of bad cops. Just bothers me.

Did you like how he just casually continued to put on his gloves than check on the suspect or his partner? Training needs work IMO
That's not really training, but rather, experience. The more you get used to something, the less likely you are to flinch or panic from it. Its like being in the military, training will give you the tools needed to survive on the battlefield, but experience increases your chance of surviving. And, unless my ears let me down, didn't even have a good D/L. That's minor compared to the rest, but why let this guy out onto the streets?
Police aren’t paid nearly enough for this crap.
People always talk about cops making a lot of money.. first of all, unless you're way high up, they make about the national average, which is silly by itself. Secondly.. even watching these videos, we don't see the shyt they deal with. When there's violence, it's blurred, they cut scenes to make them RUclips appropriate. Even if not, being there is totally different. Everyone wants to be a critic from their own home, and I won't even get started on the ánti-cóp morons.. but if you really think about it, and I mean even just the little things. Being perpetually screamed at, SCREAMED, that probably wears on your hearing. They're being insulted all day, called all kinds of names, if you're bald, they'll use the over and over, that has to wear on your mental health. Having your family threatened all the time, whether they mean it or not, has to weigh on your mind. The stress alone from not knowing if a call or traffic stop could potentially be your last. And those are just the smallest things.
What they see, the violence, the kids involved, the death and gore, and they have to keep going and pretend like it's nothing.. they see the worst of humanity all the time, and to top it all off, people irrationally hate them and disrespect them constantly. There's been a push to demonize law enforcement for decades now. I'll admit they didn't used to be so great. But now, and especially with body cams.. it's estimated between 3-5% of cops have engaged in corruption enough to warrant a heavy punishment. Hell, more doctors and nurses off people than cops, and some probably intentionally, I can think of a handful of angels of death off the top of my head. But no one is campaigning to defûnd the medical institutions. Call it cónspiratórial if you want, doesn't change the reality.. ultimately cops are just another line of defense for citizens that stand in the way of other agencies having total control. That's my opinion, but there's lots of evidence supporting it. I've been arrested a couple times And i STILL appreciate cops. It's not their fault I broke the law, they have a job to do.
Sorry to have ranted on your post lol. Stuff like this just bugs me. ❤
They get paid more than you for sure
