It's because that was what I was used to playing at. Since then I've fixed my fov (135 -> 90) so hopefully if we get into AGDQ it will be much easier to watch. Sorry about that, hope it didn't completely ruin the run.

Talbot Solenberger That's true, and the higher fov does help that, but for an average viewer it can make an already very visually busy game even harder to handle. Plus, now that I've started practicing at 90 fov, it's really not that big a difference from an information standpoint.
Well, if you want the legitimate answer, lots of practice and lots of passion for the game. I love this game to death and I was willing to put in the time to learn the mechanics as we were discovering them (made a few discoveries myself as well). Nowadays we have a few tutorials out and about in the community to help new players, but that doesn't change the time commitment to much :D

The devs sure got *a lot* of mileage out of that one FMV between levels
Usually it's fine, it just looks silly when you're rushing through levels since it takes so long by comparison :)
