Hi from Pukekohe Stacey! I'm popping in to tell you I just made your bread! You made this retired lady very happy! It was so easy and delish. Thank you, dear Stacey❤❤❤❤❤
I can hear Philip Duncan in the background giving you the weather update. I love listening to him as he gives a better update than any of the Australian sites do. Then on Thursdays he is kind enough to give us Aussies a weekly update & is always more accurate. The bread looks great however, I am now gluten intolerant & so eating a slice would be the worst thing in the world as not only would I end up bringing it up but in the meantime I would go into hypothermia which is more of a worry.
I am so pleased your loaf stuck! I have had awful experience with loaves sticking so now I shall try your "sweating" method first before I reach for a knife and ruin another pan!! Very much appreciating your channel ❤
I made this today! And omg, it was the best bread I've ever made!!! And I've made a lot of bread over the decades. I used a mix of half spelt and half rye, and it turned out amazing!!! Thank you so much!!! 💓 ❤
Hiya Stacey! I made your bread again today. Because it's coming up to Xmas, I added cinnamon, nutmeg and mixed spice to the dry ingredients. Then after its first proofing, I rolled it out as you showed us to put it in a loaf tin. I added dried fruit and put it in the tin for the 2nd proofing. OMG! It is delicious. Love from Pukekohe ❤❤❤❤
Hello Stacy, I love your bread recipe. Thankyou , it’s delicious and so easy ! I have adapted it to make a fruit loaf as well. I’m really pleased to have found your channel , as I live on a small budget and prefer to cook from scratch when possible. I really like your down to earth , practical approach!! Greetings from Bunbury in Western Australia
Haha, I'm trying to learn a new editing software, and I can't work out how to add txt to warn you guys of the weather report. In the end, I figured, well, it was real-life action
Only just discovered your channel, and loving it. You are an amazing woman what you do for your family and to teach us your skills. Thank you. Addicted and watching/trying your recipes.
I love the rose colored baking pan; very pretty. I've never made bread but this looks pretty easy, plus it doesn't have all those ingredients that are not so good for us. Bread looks so good
Thanks for this one as I don't own a kneeding machine only a regular food processor but no mixer apart from hand one. Now need to buy yeast and have a go.
I used to love the 'Easter Toast' they made at Countdown supermarket. Unfortunately, they don't make it anymore. If you came up with a spicy, chocolatey loaf during winter, that'd be awesome 👌
Hi Stacey, thanks for this recipe. I made it today and it was lovely but maybe next time I’ll reduce the sugar. I found it a little sweet but that said we still enjoyed it very much,
I've been making bread for years, but not the no knead kind. Am surely going to try this one. It looks delicious. You're keeping me busy, and I appreciate it.
I’ve been cooking forever yet I learn something from you every time, sweat the bread to get it out . I never you that technique lol. That would be great bread for French toast
I will be trying this recipe. All the other no-knead ones tried have not turned out as the recipes do not call for blooming the yeast. These look delicious. Thank you!!!!
@@FarmersWifeHomestead I have tried this recipe several times. For some reason, not sure other than I am new to making bread, they did not turn out great. BUT I know that weather and such can cause baked items to not turn out. I made another attempt and made a batch and a half for the loaf pan I wanted to use and it turned out perfect. Thank you for this recipe. It is much appreciated as I have to watch my sodium intake and this allows me to have bread and the all important Controlling the sodium in my food. Thank you!!!!
I'm sorry some of the loaves didn't work out great for you, but it sounds like you got there in the end. Bread is also one of those things that can get better the more you try it. The loaf is a naturally more dense loaf, and I must really film my other one that is more work but light and fluffy. Thank you so much for persevering and for letting me know how you got on! I hope you are well.
@@FarmersWifeHomestead Yes, with all things new.... they don't always turn out right the first time or two. .. or 3, etc. The weather plays a part in how things turn out, too. This last bread, I was happy with. Thanks again for your recipe and words. I persevere as I love home made bread and I like to be able to control the ingredients as well as amounts. Look forward to seeing the more in depth bread video in the future. Have a good day. Take care.
Kia ora from Hutt Valley - Stacey you mentioned buying your yeast in larger quantities (can you please let me know where you buy your yeast in NZ?) and storing in fridge or freezer to keep longer (I am now storing my yeast in a glass jar in the fridge too ;) - thanks heaps for that tip much appreciated 🤩🤩🤩
Now that's what I call a sandwich 🤩and I love a crust (heel). I only just found your site and have just subscribed. Thank you for all these wonderful recipes - you truly are a gifted cook. Do you make wholemeal bread? I need as much fibre as I can get 😁 Greetings from South Australia 😘Xx
Hello, and thanks for joining us here. I love to make a lovely five-seed bread but it is a Thermomix recipe. I keep meaning to make up my own. I will have to put that on my to-do list. :)
@@FarmersWifeHomestead Sounds good to me. if anyone can do it, it's you Stacey 😍 My favourite loaf is Burgen rye don't know if you can get it in NZ. The only problem is that the slices are a bit small to make a nice hearty salad sandwich
Stacy, excellent videos and recipes. no doubt you know this trick but I will share it in case. When you put anything in snaplok bags in the freezer, put a straw in the bag, pokimg out the top and seal the bag as far as you can. Then suck out the iar and quickly seal the rest of the way. does that make sense?
New subscriber here. Your videos are amazing, very thorough. I’ve been making no knead dough/bread for about 15 years, from Jim Lahey. The only thing different from this is I use the 1/4 tsp yeast, overnight bulk ferment method. I also make sourdough breads. Regards from NJ, USA.
I am still working through the bags of powdered milk I bought when my grand daughter was born when COVID started. My kids nver used it but it has been great for baking and my morning Nespresso! 😀☕👍
Hi Stacey my first try at no need bread using exactly the same pot.can you tell me why it cracked around the top.I will try again another day.love your videos I will try to add a picture, not that tec saving so no promises.
I made the bread in my breadmaker today as an experiment. Yay it's beautiful. Stacey would you know where to get Rye flour. I have been buying Rye breadmix from BinnInn but would love to do my own. Thanks =-)
Thank you! Best bread master class ever! Can't wait to try it like you do it. Blessings to you and your family.

I made this bread today. It's amazing. Like eating a little piece of heaven. Thank you for showing us this recipe.
My pleasure 😊
Love this recipe! I have never baked bread, but I can do this! Thank you!
This is very much a great introduction to bread making.
I bet your kitchen smelled.so.so good. Nothing like the fragrance of fresh baked bread ❤
Hi F.W. Just tried your bread recipe. Awesome!! Thankyou very much. We love your show!

I love your channel.
You've inspired me. I have this week off so I'm making bread!

The cookware is very pretty indeed and very good quality as well. I think this bread will be a perfect introduction to bread making for you.
Thank you for sharing this recipe. I love home made bread but very rarely make it. You’ve inspired me to give it a go.
What an easy bread recipe that looks gorgeous and tasty. I’m always intimidated to make bread but maybe I can do this one. Thank you!😊
I’m giving this a go now … fingers crossed 😊😅

Wow Stacy, you are an amazing teacher. I have learnt so much from you. I was overproofing my bread on the second rise.
Thank you so much for letting me know you are learning so much from the videos. I'm so pleased you have figured out about over-proofing the bread.
I always get my dough to prove in my oven with just the oven light on
I always have milk powder in freezer where it will keep for well over a year and use it in baking white sauces etc 😊
I’ve put my dough in the bed with the electric blanket on 1 in the winter. 😂
Hi Stacey, thanks for this recipe. I made it today and it was lovely but maybe next time I’ll reduce the sugar. I found it a little sweet but that said we still enjoyed it very much,
That bread looks amazing! I will bake making that for sure.
Excelente
Oh my mouth was watering! I can imagine how that fresh bread smells.

Just wondering if you a recipe for multi grain bread please. 🙂

What beautiful loaves.
Thank you so much. They are very tasty and such a no-fuss loaf.

Yes, I've used this method for years. You used to be able to buy a cylinder that did the same thing. 😊
Que rico

Smashing going to give this a go , thanks
I just made a Loaf! It was so easy to make and tastes delicious warm with loads of butter 😋. Thankyou so much ❤️
Can’t wait to try this. If you baking pan doesn’t have a lid, do you cover it with foil for the first part of the baking?
Hello, no just cook without a lid. :-)
Just found your channel 👏👏👏 loving it 😊
Welcome :-)
Thank you! Will definitely try this soon ❤

Master class

It's a shaggy dough so like sourdough it may crack on the top but that is ok :-)
Looks great. I'm going to buy some yeast tomorrow and give it a crack. Thanks for using the rectangle/flat lid so we could see. 🙂 👍
Wow, definitely the nicest bread I have ever tried, soo chewy, I actually accidently put in 3 tbs of sugar
Yummo!
Just lovely
Hi Stacey. What's the percentage of protein in the flour you use. Wondering if our Aussie flour is the same? really enjoying your channel.
It actually doesn't tell us here that I have seen anyway.
If you dont want to use milk powder how much regular milk to use please Stacey - loving your recipes
The same amount of water in the recipe, just use milk instead :)
Yum doorsteps with butter xx
