“Might be a draw”
Opponent has 3 passed pawns
"All rook and pawn endgames are drawn"
"Stalemate!"
Three connected passed pawns for my opponent... yeah, that should be a draw🤣
LMAO
@@MesutOzil95 On my chess level it is 🤣
Come on Eric, we all know you saw it when you played 1. d4
Obviously. Such a humble guy he is.
There's a funny line
Hahaha
If I ever played against Eric and he blundered his Queen I would just resign...
If this was Gotham, his neighbors would hear monkey noises two blocks down 😂 so epic
0:56 rd6 might seem like a blunder, but it is quite beautiful since after qxd6 exd6 rxe4, the rook can't stop promotion after d7 with either re8 or rd4.
Thank you! I was freaking out thinking he didn't see it.
lol but what about at 1:53 Qb2+? There's definitely endless checks there and eventually the queen will be taken once checkmate isn't threatened.
oh no my rook
@@mattSwilson nice one
Oh wow I was super confused, but I haven't thought of that idea. Thanks for that.
Rosen turned a "Botez gambit" into an "oh no my queen."
A "Botez gambit" is just gambiting the queen for nothing but an "oh no my queen" is just not "gambiting" but "sacing" the queen.
Funny joke tho.
@@Youssef-z7i "Oh no my queen" is something that is planned. If you listen to what he says, he clearly did not plan it but lucky for him it worked out.
Botex Gambit winning variation
@@Youssef-z7i that is why it is both, he didn't intend to lose the queen at first, but it turned out as an excelent move later
@@Youssef-z7iHad the black queen moved earlier to that diagonal he would've lost his queen for nothing
He actually oh no my queen'd 2 times in this one game, bloody legend
Lost in the "oh no, my Queen" shuffle is that the mating move was *g5* .
1:53 Can someone explain me why opponent didn't play Queen B2 at 1:53 (move 41)?
They just missed it, queen b2 one move earlier was just winning
Eric’s evil mind activates as soon as he says that dreaded phrase “oh no, my Queen!”
If the opponent had played Qb2+ one move earlier, he would have won.
A: Oh no my Queen.
B: Oh no my King!
1:58
"Oh no my Queen!"
**PROCEEDS TO WIN**
Queen sac with the pawn checkmate is the best thing to ever happen in a chess game!
I was on the edge of my seat trying to see what wizardry you'd pull out there, that was beautiful
LOL Eric he could have taken your rook on d6 when your e pawn was pinned to your queen!
Edit: Never mind, now I see that after Qxd6 exd6 Rxe4 you can play d7 and promote!
Not really cause rook can’t stop pawn then
Eric hovering with the queen to trade queens and not taking is one of the best choices of Eric's chess career.
That poor guy
calmest approach ever
At 1.54 after aligning the king and queen in the same diagonal opponent does a pawn move to give discovered check , but can't he skewer white king and queen on that move rather than the pawn move , or I'm missing something.
they had 8 seconds on the clock
@@tearstone8231 not blaming them , just curious. Was black winning with that move or I missed any trick which they saw.
Black is winning if he finds …41 Qg2+
@@tmr68. Qb2+ one move earlier, not g2. He could've skewered earlier and Black wins.
pawn checkmate!
Oh no, Mike Ween
Nice oh no my queen
C'mon Eric, you dont need to be humble, we know you saw it out of the womb
Missed qf8 mate gazillion times, move on to find queen sac and mate.
1:18 That trap was nice lol
Didn't he hang his rook at 0:56? After queen takes rook, pawn takes queen black can take the queen back because the pawn was pinned
In the end white can play d7 and there is no way to stop promotion, so white probably gonna win 😅
No Queens?
The shirt being a sleeveless shirt fits with its text, but Rosen does not have the physique to wear it.
1:53 now Qg2 and its game over for white,he did 1 move later
Qb2 not Qg2 right? But yeah I thoight that too, I can't see why Qb2 after Kd5 doesnt just win
@@joetucker971 yep i saw that, surprised Qb2 was missed
@@joetucker971 yea Qb2 sorry
Not exactly , Qb2+ White has Rd4 covering the check
@@vivaanjain2260 yeah and then just cxd4 and white loses a rook, and then it's just over
Yo it’s g5# but from white. Let’s get some g5 emotes in the chat.
This is why I’m subscribed
Seen it between "wow what a move" and "oh no my queen" i would have never seen it
The classic, “Oh No My Queen Gambit”
Bro forgot to turn on caps lock
You could call this a serendipitous "Oh no, my queen!" Dibs on serendipitous being word of the day!
you know it’s over when it looks like he blundered
0:58 wait an nm and IM missed queen takes rook?
Rd6 Q:d6
ed R:e4
d7 ...
White promote and win 😅
I’m blind bro my bad
you couldve blocked it too
At 00:56 in move 25, couldn't black take the rook? Q:d6 e:d6 R:e4?
The pawn would simply promote in that case... Eric would play d7 and rook can't stop it since d4 is covered by pawn
0:57 hanging rook ❓
If opponent saw that skewer one move sooner, gg
he also had another pawn checkmate (Rxh5, gxh5, g5#) which would be a little cooler but nice
Beautiful game
Absolute legend
2:00
Why not Rd4?
That kinda mate is like winning a lottery wow
Botez Gambit: Checkmate Variation
Couldn't Eric's opponent have taken his rook at 1:00 and if Eric takes back he gets the queen? Am I missing something?
Then Eric could just play d7 and black has no way to stop the promotion because d5 is covered by the E pawn
@@darkroads2591 Hmm, I see now. Tricky position.
wow. beautiful mate.
!!
G5!!!!
I had actually noticed the checkmate, might be the only time I notice a Queen sacrifice gone right.
Amazing!
Absolute savagery!
Million!
5th
.
You should take the rook first. It would be more impressive
no
Bozo
Nope sorry clown 🤡
Boxo (yes your brain is box shaped)
couldn't you block it with the rook
The rook was pinned
If you only saw it AFTER you lost your queen, its not an 'Oh no my queen' at all 😉. Great finish tho!
Large blunder at 55 seconds
nah, if he took the rook, Eric would have promoted the pawn
Qxd6 exd6 Rxe4 d7. I think white wins.
LOL
@@geocuttlas no because rd4 stops the pawn? right??
@@zeldamaster1036 if rd4 then exd4
0:55 isn't Rd6 a blunder?
Nope because if Qxd6, white has exd6. Then after black plays Rxd4, white plays d7 and pawn promotion is unstoppable
At :22 you missed e6+ This is why I H8 bullet games.
You mean 1:22
and e6?
That's probably the worst move in this position...
eD6 is a lost game when queen takes right?
nope, pawn gets to promote
Pawn promotes and rook is powerless to stop it
LoL...25th move could have forced Eric to resign as the pawn was pinned to queen and then cut to this epic checkmate what a game it was. Roller coster.
Not a real pin. If Qxd6 exd6 and Rook takes Queen, he could've pushed the pawn on d6 and black can't stop it from queening.
forcing someone to resign in casual bullet?
@@sergioandres1135 Yeah, I didn't consider that. Thanks.
