That is a fair point, which is also why I said it's not a complete list. But to be honest, personally I was just not completely convinced by the P16. It is a great piece of tech, and it looks and "feels" incredible. But it is also quite expensive. You are limited to 60Hz, and it maxes out with a 4070.
Guys do you know how to fix the problem where armoury crate closes as soon as I open it. I have ROG Flow X16 rtx3070Ti version, but after armory crate stopped working my battery started to drain faster 😢. It has been 1 month since I bought it
It's too bad ASUS didn't carry the 4090 onto their 14-inch laptops this year. Pure gaming performance aside, a 120w 4090 laptop, hell, even the 100w on the MSI Stealth 16 2024) is STILL nearly quadruple times faster than a 100w 4070. I wish they'd continue doing this and add a slightly thicker "Pro" variant (possibly with a 2023 chassis) of a G14 or Zenbook Pro 14 in 2025 with the RTX 50 series. Not every laptop gamers seek 100% pure performance, sometimes they just want to pay more for portability to game anywhere without looking ohio while understanding the cost of performance already.
The Zephyrus G16 is lighter and more portable making it great for on the go use The ROG Strix G16 focuses more on performance and cooling making it better suited for heavy gaming Choose based on whether you prioritize portability or power.
Which Laptop is Best for Architects in Early 2025? For an architect on the go using Autodesk programs and rendering engines like Unreal Engine or D5 Render but also programs for graphic design, which laptop offers better value: Legion Pro 7i Gen 9 Intel Core i9-14900HX NVIDIA RTX 4080 ASUS ProArt P16 AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX370 NVIDIA RTX 4070 Identical RAM and storage configuration
The ProArt is much more portable since its sleeker, but I would say the Legion offers the better value and much better performance. You can also upgrade RAM and storage and get a few more ports. The ProArt has the edge regarding battery life, though, if that is important for you and you get an OLED. That is just 60Hz tho ..
Architects, eh?! I'd recommend something with AMD CPU Cause as an Intel user myself, battery life is a not a thing in my laptop (even with my low power intel CPU)
It depends on where he plans to work and how intense his workloads are. I bet many architects work on desks with outlets and need quite a bit of GPU grunt for rendering or computing purposes.
@@NotebookcheckReviews Can completly confirm this. As an architect I mainly work on a desktop workstation when in the office, at home and while traveling I use an Asus studiobook 16 (13980hx, 4070, 64GB ...) and keep it pluged in whenever I have an outlet. To be honest I never have a situation that I can not plug in while working (as working on for example the train is quite hard without periphirals and extra screens ^^' ) ... also every little bit of extra power is always welcome working on large scale and complex buildings.
That is what I figured! I would actually love to do a case-study similar to what we did with a CGI artist a while ago, just with an architect! I think that would be a very interesting video!
I dig the video but I think at least 1 MacBook Pro should make it in the line up, they're fantastic creative laptops. (not an apple fanboy, I use both windows and Mac)

The reviews indicate that M4 MacBook Pros are top performers with impressive specifications. While they may be pricier, professional creators might find the additional cost justifiable for quicker workloads. The title perhaps should have been 'The Best Windows Laptop for Creators,' as omitting the M4 seems to be an oversight. However, I recognize that sponsorship could influence such comparisons, likely preventing Nvidia laptops from being evaluated against the M4 Pro or M4 Max.
Ah well, they are not much more expensive than some of the other notebooks I discussed. There are quite a few reasons why I have not discussed them in this video. Of course, there is the obvious sponsor situation, and the focus on Nvidia's Studio validation, but even beyond that there are a few things I do not like about the macbook (pros) that make them less ideal for creator workflows. (you can not calibrate the display, the sRGB profile locks the brightness to a very dim level, and as fast as the integrated GPUs might be, they are no match for something like a laptop 4080 or 4090) In addition, I haven't used a Macbook Pro in a while, and the new M4 samples are coming. I prefer to talk about tech I have used for a considerable amount of time to talk about it confidently! :) But we will have a direct comparison soon, so stay tuned for that!
Windows notebooks have never been better. In what application do you get a big advantage when opting for Apple instead of a similarly specced windows machine?
