It's so much better the seat behind the wing because you can hear the engine AND the jet blast. The CFM56 is a wonderful engine. I cannot express how bad a word the engine sounds from behind the wing. I get so excited when hearing the engine. Tip for future flights, sit at a seat 1 row behind (2 rows behind if taken) the wing. The window seat is preferable as it is louder.
I use to love flying, then I started suffering from really bad anxiety due to an unrelated event and now all the things I use to love like flying had made me a nervous wreck. Damn near be about to pass out lol. Last flight I was on was in 2017 from LA to DC. Hopefully I can return to the air some day, slowly building the courage to get back up there. Nice video!
Flying is one of THE most safest modes of transportation there is. They're made to take an extraordinary amount of punishment. And you can rest your mind assured that extraordinary amount of punishment you will never see. Enjoy the skies 🙂✈
"fastest taxi out time i've ever had from Orlando" 17R is very close to the SWA gates. On a first flight of the day for the airplane we have a preferred 5 min warm up time for the engines before going to TakeOff thrust. Sometimes we have to really slow down to get that when we're using that runway. Even the 2 min (3 when the MAXs come back) warmup time for non first flights can be an issue on that runway.
Have flown Southwest since 1994 except for once in November 2000 when actually had to fly Northwest before they were acquired by Delta always had a pleasant experience just recently flew on the new max 8 a much quieter and improved aircraft and has awesome interior lighting.
Just after wheels up and before most of the clouds got in the way, if you knew where to look you could just barely make out the "CHRISTMAS TREE" alert ramp--- just off the opposite runway to the far-left southwest corner---for B-52's when the field was McCoy AFB back in the day! ( MCO ) Looks like they park some stored aircraft there today. A remnant of the old Air Force days.
Fastest push back I’ve ever seen.,also I do that full throttle take off every time I play x-plane didn’t realise it was that realistic in the sound way
@@brq44 Depends on weight, weather, and runway length and any sort of noise abatement procedures. So it can range Anywhere from a full thrust takeoff in the high 90s of N1 (98-100). Down to around 85 on long runways with good conditions and low weights.
Orlando International airport used to be McCoy AFB back in the 60's to the 80"s. Was a BIG B-52 Bomber base. When it closed the city took it over and re-built it for the main city airport. I've flown in a couple of times. If you know where to look when you take off, you can still see the "Christmas Tree" bomber alert ramp where the Air Force planes were constantly on alert 24/7 days a week during the Cold War.
At the smaller airports like Bradley in Hartford and TF Greene in Providence is faster than this. I don’t like Atlanta where it seems like it can take 45 minutes from pushback to getting airborne.
Lol at those kids trying to count down the take off. (After the 6th countdown) - engines begin to roar - Kids - “Oh My God, it actually worked!”😂😂 What I would give to be a kid again. Lol
When the title says takeoff and it's twelve min long and 8 min is taxi, I get a little disappointed. On video that has such great quality I would have preferred more airtime, anyway it was great from liftoff to the end, just to short for me! 🎉
For me, when me & my family flew on Southwest Airlines, we flew from Orlando to Norfolk, Virginia, it took us about 2 hours to get there by flying & also flying back to Orlando as well.
That roar of the CFM56 engine is something else.

Just recently flew the new max 8 a very much improved interior and quieter takeoff than the older planes the cabin lighting is awesome.
louder the better tho
"It worked, I did it!" One of the cutest things I've heard said on a plane

Watching these for the same reason
You’re not alone. Watching as exposure therapy currently to work on desensitizing myself.

I would pay to help you fix that. Airplanes are wonderful machines
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy may help.
The buzzsaw of thoses CFM56 engines is amazing.
Amazing CFM engine buzz! I’ll fly southwest through cali in a few days!
For some reason Southwest flight attendants are much nicer than other airlines what do you guys think
I completely agree!!
The ones on my recent United flights were pretty nice too. But Southwest probably does have nicer ones.
Yup you got that right
SW flight attendants just love making jokes lmaoo

I love that sound of the engines
This sound at 7:20 is so satisfying

I flew a Southwest MAX 8 out of Phoenix recently. It was like floating on a cloud, easy and quiet climb and smooth flight for the most part.

just rode on about 2 of these jets the other day, most comfortable passenger jet I have ever ridden on
Kid at 8:55 "Yo I see a truck" LOL
Props to the kid in the background who counted down to takeoff correctly! Not on first try tho :(
Beautiful smooth takeoff. My kind of flight. I'm a nervous flyer so any little bumps I've got my heart in my throat. LOL
Fastest push back I’ve ever seen.,also I do that full throttle take off every time I play x-plane didn’t realise it was that realistic in the sound way
They actually didn’t have super high takeoff thrust. Sounded like about 88% N1
well how much do you usually use for takeoff?

What a unique airport. I've only flown in/out once but it was definitely something I'd love to do again

Lol
aint that crazy
@@kpro8565 that is weird to think about xD Were you on the side that was looking at this taking off plane?
i like the sounds of the engines
God I love that roar so much! Came to this vid after watching a cabin pov takeoff from a 737MAX. It's just not the same.. I need that roar in my life.
I remember MCO’s Panda Express had bourbon chicken. Can’t get that out here
Looked very well done from here!
That buzz though!!
I rode on a 737 800 and than a 737 700, (both SouthWest) and the 800 was exponentially better than the 700.
I love the part when it goes airborne like the sound effect 8:53 11:21
That's the real 737 sound for the engine its beutiful and satisfyingly
southwest and delta are really good
Southwest is the best!
No comparison
Love it! The sounds....
That sound never gets old :)
Ikr that's why I travel in these southwest jets all the time
7:20 "It worked, I did it!"
Taxi time is my time to relax but that is the fastest taxi i cant relax well

Don't we all love this engine
Nice engine sound and take off ❤️👍
and florida is REALLY NICE do you guys think
What 5 hour flight and just water and peanuts!!! Should've stopped at McDonald's 🍔🍟🧋 im loving it!
nice countdown timing

What I would give to be a kid again. Lol
Why does the airplane engine sound like that I rode a plane twice in November 2023 and it didn’t make that sound
7:15 takeoff
I don’t like taking off from Orlando because that means my vacation is over.
Yes they are they are wonderful
Southwest taxing at V1💀
7:20 startup
What seat was that
Cmh Aviation unfortunately I don’t remember, I haven’t really been keeping track of the seat numbers :/
looks like seat 7A
I love South west

I flew to las vegas on a 737 too
What seat??
737 forever..
How long does it take from orlando to las vegas?
comercole about 4.5 hours. We did flew from Las Vegas to Orlando on a Southwest Airline
For me, when me & my family flew on Southwest Airlines, we flew from Orlando to Norfolk, Virginia, it took us about 2 hours to get there by flying & also flying back to Orlando as well.
The whole taxiing...
😢😢
Sounds like my ps4
Sounds like the precise bee in Bee Swarm Simulator Roblox where it targets the player and it makes that angelic noise
Niice vid!
Isn’t that a 737 max??
It’s not Its a 737-800 it says in the title. Read the title before commenting lol
@@WashedAimerJayden i know but the finlets ? Its the same ones with the max did the 800 series get a refit ?
