I never used to watch this kind of video at all. But then the pandemic hit and I haven't flown for almost three years. I watch these all the time now. It's as close as I can get to the excitement of take off and the beauty of climbing from crappy weather to way above the clouds.
Just retired after a 32-yr career. I sure do miss that sound! The 57 is a great place to work (except for the Recirc fan noise and your eyeballs drying out). Oh, and ALT CAP with the throttles rolling back to existing SPD mode when you really want MORE speed. ;) 95 percent of my takeoffs were at reduced thrust. Going Max Blast on an empty ferry flight will get your attention. That thing will gobble up altitude and blow through Flap Speeds in a hurry if you're not careful and not used to max blast takeoffs.
So you were an airline pilot huh? I consider you one of those angels that provide such a heavenly flight experience that ( if I were onboard) the passengers would be soothed to that beautiful feeling of flying and to the beautiful sound of those engines and it helps me just by listening to it to be able to cope with losing a loved one of mine a decade ago…. at least I didn’t lose my angels that soar those beautiful majestic blue skies everyday…. how I wish I could fly everyday💞😇🥺😢🛩
First 757 I flew on was overnight LAX to BOS. That thing blasted down the runway and just launched. It climbed like a rocket to cruise altitude. The trip to Boston went by in the blink of an eye and I swear we were a half hour early. Such an amazing aircraft.
Your audio, definitely much better than my vid. Although sitting in row 19 right next to the engine versus sitting in row 5 of first class makes a lot of difference.
I absolutely LOVE that sound💕! I cant wait for this summer, Sometime in june im flying from MINNEAPOLIS,USA to TORONTO,CANADA. And im flying the 757-300! Yes that is a big and very long plane for a short 3-4 hour flight. And thats because SO much passengers are boarding. And this plane was actually not willing to go anywhere, So they are actually boarding us to a Air Canada 757-300 For a flight from MINNEAPOLIS to TORONTO.So i am very excited! yes i do have several months left till june but i am still IMPATIENT!!!! I keep on watching 757-300 plane videos and a 757-300 Air Canada tour!! Ahh!! Yes i am in regular Economy class...BUT I STILL DONT CARE!! IM ON A 757-300!! AHHH!!! OMG!!! THE WHOLE FLIGHT I WILL BE SCREAMING AND BURSTING IN TEARS OF EXCITEMENT!! And thats not the only reason im happy..ITS ALSO CAUSE ONCE I LAND IN TORONTO I WILL BE HAVING A 2 DAY VACATION IN VACATION!! A FAMILY REHEARSAL NIGHT!! EEEE I AM TOO EXCITED!! But im trying not to be too excited bc theres people who cant even afford food...And im confirming going on a trip thats like 800+ $$...
My favorite airline Delta airlines 757 300 from Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport ATL busiest Airport 🇺🇸🛫 to Orlando International Airport MCO 🇺🇸🛬‼️
No. The sound just changed as the AC pitched up. Less acoustic bounce back from the runway. The throttles are never touched once EPR is set unless you're aborting the takeoff. Thrust is then reduced at 800'. If a guy lost an engine at V1, it's possible that you might hear an increase on the good engine as the pilot added power to compensate for the loss of the other engine, but this is seldom done.
I'd be slightly worried if I were to fly in the 757-300, it's so long and narrow that I'd fear its tail would scrape the ground. I know this fear is unrealistic, just saying...
Not so unrealistic. Tail-strikes are a concern for long body aircraft (the width isn't a factor). Procedures are in place to prevent such an event. They include rotation rate on takeoff and approach speeds and flare technique on landing.
757 is my personal favorite plane. It’s just too good
You can see the landing gear being retracted in the engine reflection 😍 beautiful departure!
You're right. I can see it through the reflection.

Nah but yeah actually
Well said.

I used to work for delta and used to work with this plane. It’s pretty much the best airliner ever
Every pilot of one (including a soon to be retired one closing in at 65) DAL leaving MCO this morning would say the same!

Which airline?
Flying on a 757 SFO to ATL in September! Super excited because I haven’t been on a Boeing jet in years.
Such an incredible video. Stopped watching aviation vids for a bit and this is the first one i came back to.
Beautiful Pratt and Whitney powered 757
That is a terrific wing. I love that shape.
I enjoyed it. The 757 is a workhorse
I am in love with the Engine sound... 😌😌
Love this airplane and those Pratt and Whittney 2000 engines! . 'The get up and go, just got up and left'
I don't know if it's the 757 that I prefer or if it's the sound of its engines that I prefer.
Wow that is the best PW2000 engine sound that I ever heard!! Nice work dude!
Thank you!!!!
7:44 Screensaver right there.
I LOVE morning flights!
Great video! Love the sound and it just looks amazing in that sunrise
I was just in Atlanta through a layover going to Vegas a couple weeks ago

Niceeeee, never been in a 57-300 love that sound ❤
For a split second during spool-up this thing sounds like a TF-39.
Bro, same flight. That takeoff was awesome!
Small world! But really nice takeoff yes! Love your video of it as well
@Nicolas Zeke you're right, I don't care
@@YayAreaAviation those engines on this Boeing 757-300 are Pratt and Whitney PW2000s
@@sebastianfloyd372 pw2040 or pw2043
nice video quality bro. keep it up. 👍🏻👍🏻love those engines.
Cool, to watch a take off in fog!
(Skip to 6:00 to see the take off.)

Nice vid love morning flights so nice!
I was on b757
Climbing as a rocket!
My favorite airline Delta airlines 757 300 from Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport ATL busiest Airport 🇺🇸🛫 to Orlando International Airport MCO 🇺🇸🛬‼️
Love that sound!
Awesome vid!
Thanks man!
Long boi indeed
THis 757 climb more faster than the Falcon 9 of spaceX 🤣
wow the sound!
757❤❤❤❤
Cool flight
You be traveling everyday😂
Takeoff in the rain.
Replace all 737 max crap with the 757. I'd rather fly this older jet than the that patched up crap.
I think your planes about to fall apart what is that sound
Lovley engine sound, btw is just me or at rotation, there where a thrust reduction?
Yeah
I noticed it
EPR based engines can do some strange things I guess
No. The sound just changed as the AC pitched up. Less acoustic bounce back from the runway. The throttles are never touched once EPR is set unless you're aborting the takeoff. Could also just be thrust limit changing slightly
😍😍😍😍😍

Well here in the bay we say gas, skrape dip soooo

It has a tail gear so this doesn't happen
@@benjaminmenken5693 Are you sure? I thought that only Concorde had a pair of tail gear.
@@ChrisZoomER the 757 300 has one too
🦕🌅☀️❤
6:00
3900 rpm
It would be much faster than that
Naw it’s like 50000 lbs of thrust each engine but it does sound like 3900 rpm 😂
Nice takeoff, but you should add «taxiing for 10 minutes» in the title as well
Scrubbing is an existing method to skip to takeoff and may be faster than typing out your comment just now 🤔move along
Long boi? I wanted to see 4:20 or 69 somewhere in this vid. #N🧊 #G🅰️🆖
The buzz saw not good the engine
