In this video, I'll show you how to replace the ear cushions on your Blackshark V2 & V2 Pro gaming headset. If your ear cushions are worn out, torn, or you just want to upgrade to a more comfortable option, this video is for you.

Very helpful guide. I installed my '90s style cushions and i'm loving them so far. Pretty scary at first when it cracks open it feels like im breaking my headphones, but the headphone are still in one piece and it was actually pretty easy to install them.

I just got these installed on my blackshark v2, thanks for the tutorial, i would have torn out the original ear cushions trying it the way i knew how from my other pair of headphones. Got the 90s pattern, and they look and feel great.

Great video. My ear cushions are falling off from the earpads itself, and there seems to be nothing holding the ear cushion and earpad together. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Y lo destapé de una, sin rodeos ni nada, a cabé de lavar bien esas almohadillas, antes lo hacia con un pequeño cepillo de dientes y jabon con mucho cuidado, pero ahora si puedo lavarlas bien, de pana muchas gracias :D.

When will we be getting the 2023 version? And which one that does not contain leather in the inside part of the earpad? Because sometimes i sweat and the leather inside just starting to tear off, is there full cloth or velour maybe?

Are your earpads coming with the frame ring that we need to install them ? or do we need to use default ones after we dismantle ?
They come exactly as the originals come. nothing else needed ot be purchased
Are there any with leather on the outside? My skin is really averse to the feeling of the fabric in most of these cushions, I much prefer smooth leather.
Not for those, The fabric we use it the same fabric the original blackshark have, so if you are sensitive to that one you might be to ours as well
really quick question. I have the razer blackshark v2 pro white edition and cant find any cushions with white on the inside like the cushion on the original. Would y'all ever consider making a cushion similar to the white models cushions?
It really depends on how successful these would be. Blackshark v2 2023 kind of came unexpected to us (they made DIFFERENT cushions)
So now we need to work on that as well :(

Yes, this is for the PRE 2023 model however, the newer blackshark v2 model won't fit this
Hi, i suffer from extreme sweatness (condition, not a sweaty gamer), i had a blackshark before but i noticed last year that it started to make me extremely sweaty in my earcups, to the point for the first time i didnt want to use it anymore. I dont know if it was because summer was more hot or not, but nonetheless it made me not want to use any more headset. I changed my mind again and i want to buy the wireless edition (prob 2020) , but i am worried it will still do the same thing to my ears and i will sweat tons. I know that the cushions were leather so it makes me a bit scared of buy any leather cushions that are not breathable. Any idea if these cushions or any other cushhions would work? Or maybe a specific headset?
The blackshark v2 pads are already quite breatheable, to be honest if you had an issue with them, you might have an issue with those

Not anytime soon, so much on our plate and it really frustrated us that 2 weeks before we released those, they suddenly released the 2023 model AND MADE IT DIFFERENT.

Hi, my blackshark v2 pro is glued at the surface once i took it out. And the surface of it is different the hooks are intact inside. Can you assist me on this?

My ear cushion fell of of my Razer BlackShark V2 (not pro) IM# RZ04-03230100-R3U1. It doesnt have the latches nor the little hole on the top right.The cushion is the pure fabric without the plastic bit and the connection fabric around it. What do I do?
I am asuming you have blackshark v2X then, can you confirm? v2 and v2 pro both have the latches.
Also, it could be your cushion was so worn out that your actual plastic base of the cushion is still attached to the headset
@@WickedCushions I do not believe that I have the v2x just the v2. The box says "Blackshark v2 + usb soundcard"
I thought about the plastic base being stuck in the headset but I do not see anything that would indicate that. There is a felt/rubber ring on the inner section but it doesnt seem like its removable.

That is the whole annoying part about razer, they changed almost nothing but a little piece in the clips that makes it not be compartible with the 2023 models. They did not IMPROVE anything, they just changed the clips to be annoying.

I am assuming you ordered the "gaming pads" and not our blackshark v2 dedicated pads.
If you want to contact us directly, we will be able to solve that, but I do not have your order number to confirm that is indeed the case
You can use the plastic clip off the original ear pads, it’s a ring that’s only held in by the surrounding leather

Owner of V2 Pro (pre 2023) and there are no hooks
Then you my fine sir, have either the V2X OR THE V2 LIGHTSPEED.
What you have is not the v2 pro, unless you did not fully remove the pad & left its plastic base attached to the headset - which makes it seem like there are no hooks (because the base is still hooked in)
@@WickedCushions I do indeed have the v2 pro, verified by serial number. One of the pads starts coming out on it's own and there are no hooks, it was glued.
@@WickedCushions You might be right, the pad started coming off and I didn't notice that the plastic below is not taken out.
