I saw another video about the low mic volume. Have you tried updating the volume settings in the Synapse app? My problem with this headset is that my mic stopped working, and I can't download the firmware on MacOS. So frustrating...
So i just got this pair of headphones for christmas and i indeed do notice that the mic quality is not very good, do u you know a fix for this? ive tried the razer app / tweaking settings but nothing seems to truly help at all

I didn't understand then, do you have the 2023 edition and the older one? Or both are old? Because everybody else says that the mic on the 2023 version is like the best on the market for wireless gaming headsets (and if the samples of recording in those reviews are genuine than it is true), and you say that the mic is the same on both this and older version... Something is not right here xD
Try the Razer Blackshark V2 Hyperspeed. It's USB-C and its only like $30 more. Downside is you can't take the mic off from what I understand and i'm not sure about the mic volume. I'm thinking of picking them up myself to test out.
The blackshark V2 pro 2023 kept dropping out and I've been getting micro audio drop out, it's been infuriating. I don't care about the mic should I go with the old version?

when i use razer blackshark v2 pro, got some anoying sound like static , it's very very bad when i hear my friends voice in discord, that;s very clear sound static, but when i use jack 3,5mm the sound is good, im not hear static sound. is that can be fix ?
i dont know, but it happened with me, on the steelseries set.

I just ordered this headset yesterday for about $100 and it's getting delivered today. Do you feel I should update the firmware and use the synapse software as many people have complained (on reddit) about the sound quality getting worse after the update. Thanks

I bought 2 blackshark v2 pro 2023 one mic broke and was crackling after 2 weeks and the other broke the same way 6 months after getting it and im sure its a hardware thing
60 dollars for the blackshark? i paid like 300 imported and all the ads were around the same price, even on amazon it was around the same

I have these headset including the 20$ thx Spatial Audio. Overall it’s ok. The build material sucks and my mic has suddenly went to shit. I can still use it but it becomes static and hiss. Was it worth the 200$? No. IMO could’ve been 150$ which it is now and can get it for 90-120$ some places. Was a pain in the ass to setup but got it. I give it a 6/10.
Any updates on thos lol, I figured the issue could be the USB dong, I'll disconnect and put on my sim fan and it works amazing but if I just remove and don't out on the fan it stays sounding like ASS
there is a usb setting to not let windows turn off usb devices,. that'l help doing this, in power managemnet

For 20$ I think it’s worth it. But the build quality is just trash. Definitely not worth 200$. Should’ve been 150$. Hell if it was worth 200$ I think the thx Spatial Audio could’ve atleast came free.
Barracuda x is the most comfortable headset I have. Have the Cloud 2s and g535s. Razer for some reason uses better fabric than logitech. Logitech's fabric earpads is hella scratchy...
You have the 2020ver, the 2023ver is way better it has usb c and mic quality is good too and it has bluetooth as well, the only down side that there is no 3.5 audio cable. The mic you can adjust by going in to windows settings

The Bluetooth is so you can connect your phone and take calls not to connect the game sounds

Yeah this headset is abysmal. I just bought one and returned it the next day. Don't know if I got a dud or what but the mic was horrendous and the audio was garbage no matter how you tweaked it in razer's synapse.
Does this happen on every game? If if doesn't happen when in OBS then clearly it's an issue with the game itself (Fortnite I'm assuming). I don't think this issue deserves a video in itself, don't take it as a mean critic but as a constructive criticism :D

really this headset is ugly and kraken v3 pro is better in lot of situation
razer is the worst piece of trash, both mice plus one headset i had broke. i usually handle with care not raging. first was lancehead TE which left/right main button broke, then i bought viper 8khz which had deffective scroll (jumping). never going back to this overhyped overrated overpriced shit of a brand again. headset just fell apart (the ear muffs' sew opened and the whole left ear muff also fell off of its place completely and couldnt put it back ever since.
