Its probably for catching fish that will be used as live lures, i wouldnt go under 10g microjig. 7g is also quite small and it catches really small fish, so 10g is the way to go. Less fish, bigger fish
I am writing an article on my SlowJigging Mastery page about the supposedly different properties and characters of jigs and found being far from as described -many of our hi end jigs actually in many cases have no relevance with the so heavily advertised special tuning and particular swimming and rest super properties that companies are using in their marketing to convince us of the extensive tests and R&D time and funds invested and involved for their "incredible" actions and special tuning responsible for their - unique as they claim - productivity and high cost i will add... ... Since my tests of dozens of particular jigs from moderately to hi end priced jigs has so far proven many of those claims in the stratosphere of plain imagination or just wishing -be - and your shows more or less to belong to this very wide category - would you remember your brand and model of this "fallings" jig ?? Of course i plan to test it without a suspended camera but but record it's true tuning and special character by individualy recording by diving to the bottom while using two or more extra cameras also recording at different depths and me with the best equipment recording right at the bottom as i do for all my tests of jigs. Please since it is not announced yet as I now write my other article on the quality of jigs and the article on the tuning of various brands and types will be shot in the Summer for technical reasons as well most importantly the weather conditions and article with videos may be also presented in European magazine apart from the one I regularly contribute - published in my country. Of course asI mentioned I will take extra care to avoid any interference with the unobstructed character and the true possible tuning of this and any other jig by factors that may alter void or in any way affect the jig's real swimming type and rest actions , set up or distinctive character and rest properties . If you can assist i by the jig 's information or also type of braided and size or /and depth and weight of jig etc - will truly help . I have see and use some of the brand's types in Med Sea for Dentexes mostly from the local importer . Thanks in any case for your clip mate !
