He was right in one thing, "they were used for a long time". YES, for a very LONG time haha. Since people very rarely catch fish on poppers, BUT they always have some "friend" fisherman, who told them that they caught a massive fish on a popper haha. I've always try and get a popper that sounds like the fish making a surface strike, from bream to GT's and everything in between, sometimes the popper will make a really good pop or a bloop so I'll let it sit there for a while longer than usual and start watching for a bow wave.

Hello, I was wondering. To use poppers at open sea like this, what are the suitable depths of the water for using poppers? Cause some say you use poppers for GT in shallow waters while others say you use any depths. I'm really interested in trying poppers 🤩

I find it effective in rocky bottom or drop off. I think you use them in shallow or deep water and you can catch tuna with popper so.
