already have caught a 30# Blue Cat off of these (going to try to get a 60#+ next year). ruclips.net/user/postUgkxzXmlErSqVAEGWFEKO530BvTqFDw53QW3 Definitely very strong, and sharp. Additionally, the gap is wide enough to actually hook a fish (not always the case with circle hooks). I purchased the 8/0, but probably should have got the 9/0 (they seem slightly smaller than other 8/0 hooks). Additionally, having the point in-line helps if you drift fish. I have yet to get a serious snag with one of these hooks.

I can definitely say that the GT (or ulua )dive DEEP. One time I was trolling with a popper of all things, and it got SLAMMED by a thic ulua. In 5 seconds he went from the surface straight to the bottom about 50 feet deep and broke me off.😬

Hey man, start by throwing in some Pillies or soft plastics into beach gutters or off the rocks to find some tailor. When you get your confidence up gettin them in then start to flick some poppers on some heavier gear and you’ll get there.

when i have long walks to fishing zones, especially in hot weather i wear my old skins i use to wear at footy, the ones that you wear under your shorts and i never chafe when im wearing them and they basically act as underwear if you dont want to wear any.
might be a good investment for timmy if he chafes

That black GT showed so much blue coloring! That thing was gorgeous! Was that because the light was reflecting off of the blue rocks or was he really that psycho blue? That wasn’t a frog!
