Anbernic needs to post this on their official website. This is great work and an amazing video! Thanks man!!
I hope they do, thanks 😊
Thank you so much for posting this. Nobody else has come close to showing this many games being played on this particular system, and it was the main selling point for me to get this particular device.
😊👍🏻 there is a link in the description if you decide to buy one.
@@bigretrostudiothere's already one coming, but much appreciated
I'm acutely impressed with how well this handles N64
🙂👍🏻
Indeed! Funny to see that the RG351p is still more expensive on the Anbernic website than this one here, which does far better performancewise, has the better screen and so on.
@@clausjahnel5379I hope they give us an RG353P with the new chip set and an AMOLED display 4:3 display
I bought one it’s very good for n64 I’m too impressed
I should have mine in the next few days. Seeing N64 running so good makes me happy I chose this one.
🙂
Wayyy better than i expected with the way a lot of reviewers have talked about the n64 performance
Well, none of them would take the effort to test those many games. They would just assume after playing a couple of games ☺️
Thank you for posting your video. These little snippets show just what the device is capable of. I honestly only bought it for the N64 capability, especially killer instinct, gold.
😊👍🏻
Subscribed. Brilliant videos and your respectfully helpful in the comments. Will look forward to more from you Fella!! Take care.
Thanks for your kind words 🙂
Great Video man. Really appreciate the work you out into making this 🙌🙌
🙂
The Allwinner H700 and RK3566 lines of devices are doing what the RK3326 line of devices wishes they could do!
💯
Thank you ❤ hope you'll do one on dreamcast as well
Agreed!
he did
That's a great list of games! I had no idea it was that good at emulating the N64. Thanks for that. Question though; what OS are you using on your RG35XX H, stock or Batocera, Garlic or something else? (I've ordered but not received mine yet, but I'm reading up and preparing an SD for it as well informed as I can).
Liked & subscribed btw. 👍
Thanks 😊 this is just stock os
Que gran aporte 👏, en otro video de cierto youtuber afirma que no se puede jugar N64 con esa consola 😏 like y suscrito 👍🏻
😊👍🏻
Thank you for this, extensive N64 testing! Im thinking of getting one, would you recommend stock
OS or Batocera etc.. Also would be most grateful if you could upload a video on PSP performance across multiple games 😊
This is not powerful enough to run all the psp games in full speed. Iv made a video for rg35xx plus - 30 must play psp games, which has the same chip
Whoa! I never knew that Quest 64 was Holy Magic Century in Europe. Thanks for teaching me something new.
What great games N64 had, everything so good
I just bought one of these to play Zelda OOT, Zelda MM, and Mario 64!
Awesome! Enjoy 🙂
I had one as a kid and I didn't even know there were 100 games for N64 XD NBA x Kobe Bryant & Rogue Squadron definitely made feel 7 years old again.
Omg I completely forgot about Star Fox. Memory unlocked 🤯
☺️
9:48 that looks fun!
I was looking for a video showing Majora's Mask on it since mine will be arriving soon and I want to play it, thanks!
😊👍🏻
8:42 I would love to play Fighters Destiny on a portable device😍
This looks like the perfect gift for my 6 year old son. This would have been mind blowing back in the 80's when we only had 1 colour lcd or led / vacuum displays or consoles on old school Tv's.
Go for it! The link is there in the description if you decide to buy 😊
@@bigretrostudio We got one. I just love the size. reminds me of the pocket lcd games we used to carry around but on steroids.
Great video! Which emulator are you running? I tried playing Pokemon Stadium 2 and some of the graphics fade in and out. Doesn’t look as smooth as yours.
Switch between 'parallel n64 libretro core' with 'rice plug-in' and for some games 'mupen64plus next lebretro core.'
So this plays these games better than the 351P (which I'm still using) it seems? Anything in particular you've run into that does NOT run well? Any dips in performance (no fps in the video)?
Edit: oh and recommendations on firmware currently? I've seen some ready builds (and have helped getting material to at least one with ArkOS), am using Amberelec on my card due to the ease of installing (not super good at this), but dk if this runs something else (?).
Edit 2: graphical glitches in Conker and no music in cruis n' USA nor THPS2 and 3. Common occurence? Works better on other firmware? Also notice the R2/L2 are higher up on this one. Does that work OK as compared to stacked (351P have them level and it's not the greatest experience)?
Never got to finish MM as a kid, borrowed it from a friend but gave up on it at some temple, doing it on something like this seems feesible nowadays (not about to lug a more powerful/expensive and big handheld with me to the beach this summer).
Hey... Great video... really helpfull... I tried to compare some of the games on my device but your frame rate seems better... I saw your comment mentioning that you swap between the cores... but have you changed anything else? I'm not sure if the probelm is on the rom or the setup.
Thanks! Haven't changed anything else though.
This is pretty amazing tbh
😎👍🏻
@@bigretrostudio I wonder if it has to do with the OS updates. Everyone said N64 was mid at best but this is near perfect imo. Thank you for this!! Mine comes tomorrow!
Any specific tweaks you did to get these working well? or is this stock settings, etc.?
It's stock. Switch between 'parallel n64 libretro core' with 'rice plug-in' and for some games 'mupen64plus next lebretro core.'
Love these videos. Would love to see one for Saturn as well... but I have one question. I've tried playing a bunch of these on my XXH, with stock OS and a few that you have listed as Works Well, I couldn't even get to start up. Specifically - Iggy's Wreckin' Balls, Mickey's Speedway USA, and Jet Force Gemini won't even start up for me... they show the splash screen or the intro and then just exit. Any tip on how you got them running?
Oh and the roms are from one of the sets someone put together and put on the internet archives
Switch between 'parallel n64 libretro core' with 'rice plug-in' and for some games 'mupen64plus next lebretro core.'
@@bigretrostudio Thanks. Once I figure out where those are in the settings, I'll give it a try!
Oh good to see Vigilante 8 in the list unfortunately, it's glitchy. Perhaps with GarlicOS or Koriki runs better...
Hi. It was a great video. And i bought this handheld to play n64 and nds. What do u think which CFW better for this? Batocera?
Both batocera and koriki are great 👍🏻
@@bigretrostudiowas this running cfw on the video? I didn't see it mentioned anywhere. I see it is stock from another comment
Wow my childhood come back! Do you think we can play 2 players mode? Should I buy 2two RG35XX?
It has Wi-Fi, so yes, you can play multiplayer. The link is there in the description if you decide to buy one 😊
Thanks for the great video. Can you do one for PS1 too as well please? Thanks in advance.
Nice idea :)

Those shoulder buttons seem LOUD.
8 minutes in goldeneye was the only one that was playable compared to works well. I dunno how much more I would have to pay for golden eye to work well but I'm sure I'll be fine with what you showed. Don't know if its possible for it to get better with software or if the hardware is 100 percent holding it back on that game any another that was just playable. Thanks for the vid! this is 50 bucks shipped with the 128 extra sd card on ali so no brainer. Getting my cousin one also so we can play against each other.

@@bigretrostudio What's the next step up in your opinion to get all the n64 to work well? handheld device wise?
@rodog504 buy a more powerful device like RG405m or RG556
which software are you using? I have seen other videos with some games that works in your device that didn't work very well in others. Maybe they had ealier versions?

Are all these games installed on it directly? With Original OS ? Thanks
Yes, it is stock os. You have to manually put the n64 games

I want to get an Annernic but I kinda want to wait until they make a model with a larger screen and an hdmi port. I think the Switch Lite is the perfect size for a handheld.

I've had this console for a few days, so far I've played on gbc, gba sp and psp. I tried to find some guides on how to set up these emulators, because I updated the firmware to RG35XXH-V1.1.3-EN16GB-240614 and to tell you the truth, dreamcast games work with artifacts (I don't know how to set it), the games that look good here also look good on me tragically, I have no idea how to set it up, I tried to find a guide and I can't find anything. Everyone is only praising how great the device is... Today I was playing Legends of Kain Soul Reaver Dreamcast, everything was great, but it turned out that my memory card in the emulator was full, even though I had 14 GB of space left on the regular memory card, I played for several hours. Is there any chance for a video or guide on how to set up N64 or Dreamcast emulators so that it works like in the recording?
You're Excitebike 64 has audio issues too right?
I don't remember
Does Super Mario 64 already come with it? Or did you put it on your PC??
You have to put all the n64 games yourself.
It's even better now in MUos because you can run mupen64 with rice and it looks fantastic. runs better and gets rid of artifacts and visual glitches
What setting do i need to adjust? I just tried blitz and no mercy and they are unplayable

Hi there, I just got one of these devices myself but it didn’t come with any N64 games installed. I’m trying to download some onto it but I can’t seem to get them to work. What file type do the ROMs need to be to work on this device?
Zip files. If you extract it, it will be .n64 files. I place it as the zip file itself.
@@bigretrostudio oh I see so just leave it as is and dump it into the folder. Ok thanks a bunch for the help
Is the N64 emulator included with the device or do I have to add it? I didn’t see it listed online.
It is not listed because they haven't added any n64 roms in the sd card.

Just the roms
@@bigretrostudio oh good to know thank you!

Can i do multiplayer on this on the tv and aditional control ler?
You can if you want to.
How is the D-pad on this one, does it have a problem with false diagonals?
It has the diagonals issue. But that was only for specific games. It's not something that would prevent me from buying this device.
@@bigretrostudio Thanks
@@kikimbrown People tend to over blow the "False Diagonals" issue LazyDevs made a decent response about this "issue" in his RGB30 video.
@Pridetoons Exactly, I never bothered much about the so called overhyped "diagonals issue", just because someone keeps testing the same games "Contra" and "Street Fighter" for every single handheld 😴 and point out this so called "issue", it doesn't have to be biggest selling point for buying a handheld in my opinion. I keep testing 100s of games per week, and this so-called "issue" never bothered me.
@@Pridetoons Thanks for sharing, that certainly has cleared up this "issue" for me. So there is really nothing to worry about the d-pads in most of these devices.
